What Will Be The Features Of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train? Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Explains

Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw inspected the Vande Bharat sleeper coach prototype manufacturing at BEML in Bengaluru on March 9. Vaishnaw also provided an update on the timeline of these coaches. The carbody for sleeper coaches are ready and furnishing will be completed soon. The Vande Bharat trains with sleeper coaches will be launched soon, he said.

Dear friends, can we expect our trains to have some time-sense, which I feel is the basic requirement for any travel. Most trains are delayed by several hours on a daily basis in normal weather conditions, making train travel unsuitable for time conscious people. Looks like our railway system is normalising the lack of punctuality in our citizens!

Worst, let them bring reservation of tickets in real time, till such time most of vande bharat will run to 60% 0ccupancy. Today I wanted to catch Vande Bharat train to Salem starting @ Coimbatore @ 7.25 A.M. couldn't book ticket, when approached TTE, he informed that most of the seat is vacant but expressed his iability to issue ticket on the spot.
