5G speed we get at a particular time on the phone not only depends on phone hardware but also depends most of the time on the 5G signal which user are getting at that particular location and time. This is always true for any technology. Everybody talks about 3G, 4G, 5G but how many talks about which company deployed how much infrastructure in India for 3G, 4G till date. Everybody should ask how much infrastructure these companies deployed for 3G already when they brought 4G.. Now think how much infrastructure of 4G deployed till date when we are talking about 5G. Mostly when we are at home or at the office, we use Wi-Fi, but when we are roaming specifically traveling the speed which we get for even 4G is pathetic due to the lack of weak signal due to no Signal tower nearby. This is the real problem of speed in India and not the 3G, 4G, 5G 6G.. No matter What tech you bring to India, if the infrastructure deployed in India is weak then again it's the people who will suffer specifically in a rural areas.
