Tim ream is too old im sorry. Its just unfortnuate timing, not his fault. We need 20-26 yr olds playing as they aren't too young or too old. We dont have any real Old vets like a Koulibaly or Thiago Silva, if that was the case id be all for it.

If Weah can't go, first action needs to be a call to Koleosho to extend an invite. He won't take it, because he'll understandably have to evaluate his options and will need more time to do that, but it would plant a very necessary seed and would open up a positive line of communication between Poch and Koleosho. Then in terms of actually replacing Weah, I'd probably do what you suggested and use someone like Tillman for winger depth, while inviting in another midfielder like Morris whose play has been deserving of an opportunity.

Why wouldnt he bring in as many as possible to get to know more players. If he brings less than 30 into camp i think hes starting off his tenure with a huge mostake. The more i watch and think about it, I dont like Musah at AC Milan. He is still a developing player. And so he needs to play consistently to gain proper experience(allowed to make mistakes but have high standards towards winning). He would be better suited at a place like Fiorentina, Brighton, Brentford, or mid table Bundasliga team.

Poch made it a point to say players will be watched and called up based on performance. That means players like Adian Morris and Busio should be called up over Gio and Tyler. It means Leonard Maloney over Musah, who gotten garbage minutes at Milan. We’ve got to get out of the “potential” mindset and foster competition. No more free rides because of potential or level of player.

I have a weird take which is that despite the US hosting the World Cup, I feel like our best play is to just use MP to develop the younger prospects. I'm far more optimistic that our 18-22 year olds (with the right amount of experience) could get us past a round in the World Cup than MP really doing anything significant to our current group in 2 years.

MP is a coach that squeezes players to get the most potential out of them. The Sullivans, Kochen, Wesley Okoduwa, Carrizo will have the leadership from the veterans MP trains to make that push as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised if poch wanted his players to keep form/gain form with their clubs in Europe. I know some people will say we don’t have enough time and they we need to get the boys together as much as possible. However, Poch has stated that they have plenty of time. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted some of his players to stay in Europe with their clubs instead of making the trip across the pond for two friendlies.

Yeah I agree. We need our players to be consistent and healthy for their club teams. I don’t see the point of interrupting someone like Pulisic’s current form for two friendlies. I want to win as much as anyone else but I think we need to keep in mind already players are playing a ton of games. Why throw in the additional travel? I think you can make an argument either way, I have an open mind to both ends of this.
