Addressing poverty should be the most important problem that our country has to face. These people have been running our country into the ground. I swear past generations would be so disappointed & disgusted by those who are in control nowadays.. Just tossing so much away, even if it means so much around them falls apart. Community, small towns, local shops, unique places, creative forms of entertainment... It's all gone "because it isn't profitable" As if none of that stuff has a much deeper value to our society? It's all being replaced with the same cookie cutter places in any town you now visit. Starbucks, banks, fast food, bars, grocery stores, insurance companies.. Where did the soul go? I would argue that Elon Musk has had much less effect than people assume. People forget that he was always a liberal, and a strongly opinionated one until about three years ago. He wants much more clean energy. He wants government support for electric cars. Sound familiar? This is why he was a big supporter of Obama and even Biden. Trump's victory is bittersweet to me as a teenager who lives in Asia. I feel like I am happy because those Democrats with their silly... things lost, but also am so anxious and afraid of what Trump, or more specifically the Republican party, will do and what laws they would put into place that could effect so many lives in America and potentially the world. Project 2025 is my biggest concern, I pray that Trump has enough moral consciousness to realize the stupidity in most of the policies proposed in Project 2025. As a Christian, some policies in Project 2025 I think has to be one of the most cruel policies that could be put into law to enforce to human beings. There is a reason God gives us free will, enforcing people to not do bad things instead of giving resources or help to lead them to a better path can be problematic. I pray for Muslims and people of other religions in America that might be effected by policies that might come into place, especially if its from Project 2025. Republicans laugh at democrats, and democrats laughs at Republicans. But as someone that isn't American, I think its safe to say that I can say for the rest of the world that we laugh at both. Ego and pride is a big problem in American politics. Instead of running to build a country that is tainted with problems, during campaigns, they instead mock each other and try to prove who's worse. How ironic of Republicans too, who wants to enforce Christian related policies and law, being so blinded by ego and pride in this election. Truly an eye opening take from you random stranger. It's sometimes scary thinking about how naive the leaders of our world can be. I personally don't want to engage in politics at all but it's truly worrying seeing what things might be inside project 25 and our leaders need to wake up and start acting on changes that follow our religion in order to benefit society. I sympathise with all of the queer communities as well as Muslims because at the end of the day Jesus taught 'love thy neighbour' and it's sad to think this 'culture war' has strayed us so far of this path all because of pride and stubbornness. Especially from people claiming to be Christian. It's tough as many of us are still young and we simply don't understand some of these things, infact many of us don't, and yet we're still allowed to vote while being so impressionable and so easily radicalised by propaganda.
