I was here during the 6 weeks school holiday in 1996 and 1997 and this place is absolutely nothing like what it once was all the arcade games and fighting games are gone , its so sad to see the place like this now . That was a Golden time during the 90;s when arcade's were at their best and prime

i think this is a fantastic idea, visiting all the amusement arcades across the land, it get you out and about...visiting new seaside places, and sometimes inland places......theres always a cafe in arcades, if you need a meal and a pub, . in a lot of them...... yeah.. its a great time in the arcades.... this is now my goal, to visit all the best known arcades across britain.

Actually that is not the case. We played that game at another arcade and as long as you have three claw machines in any order it counts as a win.

also for the future tip on those type of machines, if you have nudges and the tickets are flashing its telling you that the max prize you get from the machine with those nudges is that, there were few times 100 tickets were flashing :)

I'm glad you learnt Uk claw machines are awful haha I love coin pushers I mean effectively you get 50 plays for £1 on the 2p machines 10p ones are a bit more of a scam. I also love the monopoly game the best, I was either really lucky or really good at timing and kept winning big! :) super fun. I just wish all arcades would have a card option instead of having to collect and wait for thousands of tickets to count :)

UK crane machines are just awful... The most rigged machines ever. Elaut machines are the worst culprit. There are on some rare occasions where you can find a high payout machine. I remember clearing out a machine in a holiday park in Porthcawl.
