What U said about the new owners was enlightening Yan. The injuries r a poignant point-we r not looking good. Jackson has improved & Palmer has been brilliant.Mudryk needs more game time. Then we sell a lot of our academy players-as it’s “pure profit”. I thought like many at the start of the season that we were heading to the top 4 & the CL. I hope they’ll finish well! We need an improvement in the treatment room. COYB!

idk about other chelsea fans,but last year was so depresing to watch,we were sad,this year ive had games in which ive watched beutiflu footbal,some of the performances by players have been amazing and are only gonna get better,our attack is clicking and we still got room to improve wth the finnishing, but apart from sterlings late season dissasterclass(he had some amazing free kicks) and some of our most promising young players still being injured to hell ,this seasons football has been a joy to watch,honestly wont mind poch next year,coaches generaly get exponentialy better with time

Remember last year when many were saying yes three years to rebuild etc, and were happy if we see improvements and to allow this season to get etc, fast forward to now and people are saying the season's a failure as were not top 4 etc , absolutely crazy, and how people thought we'd be contenders this year is beyond me

Look at every game we lost or was a draw. See how many goals we should have scored. Then see what that would have done to the result of that game. Then see where our points total should realistically be right now. Stop blaming the manager for players who can’t score. We also have too many whimpy players who get injured all the time. How can a manager keep a cohesive team when he can’t get a steady healthy 11-14 players. We keep rotating the back 4 due to injuries. I suppose that’s the managers fault too. All those who want Poch out have no idea who would replace him and would likely be calling for the replacement to be sacked in a month.

The bar should be high. That's the rebuild. Aiming for a top 6 this season would've been pretty perfect - as far as getting back up to challenge for the title. I'd like us to finish on a winning streak. 11+games. #ktbffh continue the growth

I'll consider it a good season if we finish 8th with the FA Cup, 7th or 6th. I don't consider a CL finish or even 5th place to be realistic anymore. Tottenham would have to fall apart completely for anybody other than United to overtake them. Maybe the FA roll out the points deductions for City fast enough for them to get relegated, pushing us up a spot but other than that I see us between 6th and 10th. I never thought we could make top 4 but I thought we'd surely be sitting in 5th or 6th at this point in the season. However, the way things played out with our injuries (plus the odd refereeing scandal) I don't think it's fair to criticize us based on table position rn. We can't excuse all points that we left on the table just by pointing to our injuries but, unless we finish in the bottom half of the table, I won't think of this as a bad season either.

I agree with you about a good end to the season. The young players usually improve as the sap rises in spring. The only problem is injuries but if Poch trusts the youth they will repay him. West Ham are catchable but Man U have to collapse for us to pass them. I hope so but not banking on it. I know this sounds daft but I fancy the FA cup come back home again. POSITIVITY is always the thoughts of the unknowing. I think it could be ours with such a big pitch at Wembley so long as Poch plays Mudryk wide and Jackson central. Finishing 6th or 7th is absolutely achievable.... personally, even though i can't stand where we are in the table, i would consider this season a successful one already.... almost an entirely different starting XI than last season, squad is full of players 23 or younger, we've scored more goals than last season already,, we made it to a cup final (against Liverpool), and players are coming in to form.... if we can just find some consistency, we could be a team to fear come next season

60 points and a good run at the end of the season would make me feel very positive towards next season, especially if people like carney, misha and noni do well. By chelsea standards I wouldn't have called that a 'good season' but looking at it from this point in the season I think i'd be overall pretty satisfied

A good season would mean 6th place and 8 wins in our last 11, putting us in the top3 in points per game between now and the end of the season, with momentum to carry into next season and a dark horse reputation for top3 that'll attract players we want to the club. I'll swing an acceptable badge their way if we end with some consistency and maybe 6 wins and 4 draws and a loss

finishing atleast 6th. it will be an improvement considering we ended 12th last season. plus European competition will give us a breather in terms of our finances. that will be a start to pull us out of this pit we dug for ourselves. that being said, we will still be a long way from where we need to be which is challenging for pole position but that will come In time. I'm on the fence on whether we sack poch or give him another year to continue with this project.

I always thought at the start of the season that top 6 would be a good season, that top 4 would have been an excellent season, and getting Europa Conference league would have been worse case scenario. It is a very flawed analysis judging chelsea this season based on the league position from last season. The most optimistic chelsea fan understood that we may not finish in top 4 in the summer. However, competing at the 10th-11th all season is due to poor management. It isn't injuries that made Poch play Colwill at LB when Mattsen was here. You keep talking about we have scored more. Yes... that because we have better attacking players this season. How about the number of goals we have conceded this season? You just conveniently forgot that in your analysis. This season will have being considered a success if chelsea has been competing in 6th-8th all season rather than 10th-12th. Failure is failure. Don't sugarcoat it

Although in an ideal world this fixture list would look promising. For US it’s a nightmare. Games against teams like Everton,Ntm Forrest,West Ham,and Man U are going to be the hardest and most likely for us to lose. Physical teams that counter slap us. Simple. It’s been going on for YEARS. Even before Poch. That’s why we’re 11th. Poch needs to set us up in a way that we aren’t exposed when we lose the ball in the opponents half. Stop pushing so many people up at the same time. Especially enzo.

not as unlikely as you suggest. Only 1 loss in the last 5, looking better than any other time int he season (obviously still hit and miss mind) . Only 5 points behind 7th position with 2 games in hand over that side, and 1 game in hand over all the others between the current position and 7th. Only 1 team Chelsea and that 7th spot has taken more points from the last 5 games than chelsea. I think 6th is doubtful but possible (8 points to make up and a game in hand over all sides) but much les likely. 7th is very do-able. that said, so is 13th.....
