But how would the atoms shrunk in your body react? If you were shrunken to have less mass wouldn't the atoms remain the same size? Your cells would have less stuff to work with and complex human organs couldn't work. Also if atoms were smaller, how would they react to other larger atoms?

I wonder how being so small would affect your brain. The space between the neurons would be a lot smaller. Then there's the question of the individual cells of your body. Would you have fewer of them, or would you have smaller cells? What if the individual molecules were smaller? You probably wouldn't be able to breath, because the air molecules around you would be too big for your lungs to absorb.

+Shawn Ravenfire Yea I was thinking this too. The electrical signals in your brain would react different, as well as your nervous system. It might be such a small change, that at our current size we can neglect it, but when the whole body is magnitudes smaller it may become a huge effect, making the body shutdown instantly. Even if your atoms were the same size and the space around them became less, every chemical and electrical reaction would behave completely different.

There is really no way to logically do this without defying some laws of physics And also, Shawn, the neurons themselves, would also be shrinking, so I don't believe that would be a problem. Although, yes, logically, none of it is possible, at least yet, and not with the laws of physics coming into play.

but if your atoms were shrunk and the space between the atoms got smaller there would be no way to breathe since the air molecules would be too big for oxygen to enter the blood stream correctly, you would need a suit that protects and supplies shrunken oxygen

Tay Tay So how do insects breathe? Anyways even with the atoms being shrunken, the size of your blood vessels should still be billions of times larger than atoms. Imagine fitting a grain of sand in a whale shrunken to the size of a dog. It would still work.

Perhaps Ant-Man isn't actually smaller. Perhaps the dimension of space that surrounds him is temporarily compressed by the suit that he wears. Therefore the space that he occupies is compressed spacially to a really small size within normal space instead of his mass being compressed to that size. Think about like the T.A.R.D.I.S. from the show, "Doctor Who". Antman's small size comes from his suit that initializes a compressed yet relative time and dimension in space (R.T.A.D.I.S. lol XD) that only effects everything within the outer layer of the suit. Then again, this assumes that compressing spacial dimensions will also temporarily change the size of atoms within that space while also coming into contact with normal sized matter. Though perhaps the suit that antman wears protects him from all spacial differences. When it comes down to powerful punches perhaps when he comes into direct forceful contact with normal spacial matter, the punch would instantaneously spacially expand to normal size in which would be by prospective be called super human strength. Similarly to just interacting or lifting objects, the force that is applied shares two instantaneous opposing spacial of dimensional size of forces. Though as complex as I make this, I don't really fully understand what is going on. I personally think that I skipped a lot of details. Also, I know that I am wrong about a lot of what I typed and I may be repetitive. I am just practicing the thought process of scientific fictional explanation of Antman's suit. Daemonfire101 Yes he also grew giant sized so much that he developed some weird medical condition from it. Also Ant-man has shrunk to the microverse where he's shrunk beyond the sub-atomic level. There are two versions of shrinking in the marvel universe one where you would have proportionate strength to youre new size. Hank Pyms version is the one where you retain the same strength and mass as when you were normal size.
