Israel's Prime Minister says nobody will stop its military actions - not even the International Criminal Court.
The ICC is investigating the country's operations in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank - and could issue warrants for the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders.
He says such a move would be outrageous - and set a dangerous precedent.
And the foreign minister insists the country won't be deterred and will continue to fight.
The court's Prosecutor says anyone who breaks the law will be held accountable.
But Israel is not part of the ICC, and does not recognise its jurisdiction.

You can see it in how they walk, talk, regression to the thinking they had as children and in their eyes. There is an emptiness within them, the spark is missing or greatly diminished. Their is little or no engagement with what is going on around them as they look inward struggling to make sense of what is no longer easy to process for them anymore. Yes they can read and even complete tasks, walk around or wander. It's truly a sad statement when it is said of them, the lights are on but nobody is home. Israel isn't part of NATO, it's the North Atlantic (as in the ocean) Treaty Organisation, it's a military cooperation body, not a human rights charter. UN has lots of deplorable members, think of it as a student council, it has no teeth and member states must agree to send their own troops to get any kind of UN troops on the ground (e.g. Malaysia as US troops, assisting US in Somalia in Black Hawk Down conflict). Israel, like the US, choose not to sign onto anti-genocide conventions for political and moral reasons (or the lack of morality). They don't want to be caught committing crimes against humanity whilst claiming to be the worlds moral superpower(s). Despicable but telling. However, if Netanyahu/his extremist right-wing govt gets the arrest warrant, he won't be safe to go to ICC-signatory countries, for fear of being arrested and tried like the genocidal war criminal he is. He'll have to stay put in Israel, like Putin in Russia.

Many bands do make songs about the hypocrisy of these so called leaders & elites. Many hard rock and metal bands are the embodiment of the rebellious nature of rock music. 😎🤘 Check out Critical Acclaim by Avenged Sevenfold, The Stage by the same band, check out Nevermore by Lamb Of God, Disposable Heroes by Metallica, and so many others. Plus everyday people can actually afford tickets to see them. 👍

Not so. Many writers and poets have been busy writing, they just haven't come out yet. We will see it. I've also noticed that a great many contemporary Christian songs that came out even before this all started are holding a light or flame that speaks clearly to what we are seeing happening today. It has been noted that many a musician, including King David, writes songs of Prophesy without even knowing that they are doing it. Many great artists have said, "The words just "came to" them and/or the lyrics". I pray we hear songs of victory and justice for the Palestinian people and the world. That's my hope and my prayer. I want to hear those songs that will be written.

I insist, its NOT that a nation has the right to defend itself, it has the OBLIGATION to do so. BUT; this applies to ALL nations and not just some. It is my opinion that the HAMAS attack on Israel was terrorism, but there was a prior history of HUGE injustices on the Palestinian people. Also; Israel should have thought about their reaction to the hamas attack, instead they were led by hate and revenge. No-one, repeat, NO ONE! will benefit from this massacre and Genocide that Israel is committing! Oh, unless you consider ALL those, directly and indirectly getting rich from the sales of arms. My prayers and support for those innocents being slain and my disgust and condemnation for those who make wars to gain power and money!

Did it ever seem a bit suspicious as to how quickly the US had two Aircraft carriers right off the coast there after the Oct 7th attack? Did the response time, up to 10 hours, for any help to arrive to those who called for help as soon as the attacks started happening as suspect? So much of what happened that day seems so suspicious to me on so many levels. I have felt from the start that the attack was allowed to happen in order for Yahu and his gang to start a genocide they'd been planning using an attack by Hamas as an excuse/trigger event. Even the death toll on that day was greatly increased by not only a complete drop in communication between the IDF forces and those who should have been communicating with them, but also by the employment of the Hannibal directive against not only military members, as the directive was adopted, but also against their own civilians.
