pile 3 - exactly what happened... I know this is what he would say to me. He literally chickened out and then after several months, met someone else, and got into a committed relationship. It absolutely shattered my heart, made me feel unwanted and not enough, but now that almost 3 yrs have passed, I truly believe it was meant to go this way. Soon after I broke it off, I got down and dirty on the books, studied for 9 months straight, passed the Bar and became a lawyer. Moved into the house of my dreams and just focused on myself and getting where I always wanted to be. I miss him like crazy and no one has ever even got close to what we were. When I do see him, I see the "I fucked up real time"-look, he looks so unhappy, but I know that back then, despite I wanted US to be official, we just weren't ready. So, whatever happens happens... It was crazy because back then when we first dated he had me confused where we stand, I asked he didn’t give it to me straight up. That was all I needed to know, so left. We reconnected years after and the same thing happened… he left me confused I asked he wasn’t sure. That was all I needed to know and I’m gone. Just like he wanted he was not sure about me even years after the fact he only wanted me around because he liked that I loved him.
