i would have done the same 😊. as a learner driving in confused state is not preferred rather stop- look - go policy is the best way

@@pshreyanreddy5283 you'll get marked down for hesitation if you do this at every roundabout and junction. You should slow down, gear down and prepare to stop but not feel that it's 100% necessary every time

Would have continued at the first bus but waited for the orange van to pass in case there was a car close behind out of view if I had stopped like this student at the first bus

It looks to me like the bus had right of way anyway as it was past the white line before the learner got to it. Already in the roundabout, so it has priority.

@ZONDOdriving hey mate, on a very steep uphill, do you think a no handbrake hill start is possible? Like just moving off the brake and on to the gas pedal quickly can work? I mean surely it depends on the car and skill but can you test that?

I did a video on that and you will roll back a bit, no matter how quick you are at moving from brake to gas. The only way to not roll back without using the handbrake is to use the brake first while you find the biting point.

Kept going and be prepared to stop when no choice the slowing invites the bus out. Say that the bus as tjey are a trained driver shouldn't take the piss
