Having owned this box for almost the past year, I had always thought it was a 1949-1951 box. After doing some actual searching, I discovered on the Passionate Whick website that I had been completely wrong...

Now I want to get a Scooby Doo van and drive to Canada and investigate the old Zippo factory there. I think it closed down like 20 years ago so I wonder if anything is left.

Love the Scooby-Doo van (Mystery Machine) idea!! Pretty sure the factory has been cleaned out already. Will have to check, but I think there is another business there now as well.

I’ve only had one of those boxes through my doors. Never new about the Canada part of it. However I do those boxes are worth some $$$. Great info!
