I remember in 5th grade I had a full on mental breakdown as my family was assaulted 7 days ago, we were in the recovery process, final exams were aproaching, a friend was passing through difficult times, my brother was being a jerk and I had too much social interaction. The thing that broke me was all the noise and not being able to concentrate during complicated math problems. I was crying and laughing and one of my closest friends said it was the first time something like that had happened tome as nothing even of similar level of magnitude had happened before. I went to the psychologist and didn’t return to class for a hot 30 minutes, worst experience of school and a new rule was implemented in the classroom shortly after.

I once got in trouble for not paying attention in class, I tried to explain to her that I have ADHD and can't focus and can't sit still, she pulled me to the office and yelled at me for being a liar and that lying about having a disorder like that is disgusting and that I'll go straight to hell for lying about such a topic, she said that lying about having ADHD was a terrible excuse and that I'll get no where in life. (she's an older teacher) she then called my parents and told them everything that happened, they full on SCREAMED at her! They told her that I wasn't lying about having ADHD and that they would call the principal about that, long story short the teacher got fired, and she's no longer allowed to teach.

Yeah there were a lot of stupid reasons I got in trouble. In first grade, FIRST GRADE, I got in trouble because I did a cartwheel in class. In 3rd grade, I got in trouble once for pulling my pants down during recess In 6th grade, I told my friend the true meaning of the middle finger, and after I realized what I done, I told him not to snitch on me but he did and I was in the office for 3 days straight (my parents don't know to this day) In 7th grade, one time I felt like I had enough and felt like ending the pain, for that, my teacher called me out in front of the whole class and blamed me for it (keep in mind my 7th grade teacher was my archnemesis at the time and I wasn't the only one who felt like she was overly strict), also I was given detention when I still felt like it. In 8th grade, this wasn't really a stupid reason, but one time I got caught cheating on a test, but my teacher gave me the benefit of the doubt and let me retake it, which I did and got an 80. Don't cheat it's not worth it. In 9th grade, me and this kid named Nolan got into a fight, he went at me first for some reason (I won the fight tho), but we both got sent to the office. The weird thing is, I almost got suspended for it but they luckily didn't because it was the first month of school, now I'm in grade 12 and there hasn't been any major situations since then so thank God. If there's something I'm happy about, it's that I don't have to go to that crappy elementary school anymore :^) TL;DR: My elementary school experience was kinda crappy, but at the same time it wasn't that terrible (where I live there aren't middle schools so grade 1-8 is considered elementary) and even though I got into "trouble" once in grade 9, I haven't had any bad experiences since then thankfully :^) Edit: for the third grade one I know it might have not been a stupid reason per say but I guess I was a little too impressionable because I saw someone do it and my absorbent brain thought "why not"

Basically, I was just chilling outside during recess, one of my "friend" (someone who turned out to be super toxic), told me to tell her friends she didn't want to play with them anymore. That's what I did. 5 minutes later her friends came with a teacher because apparently, I called them "b******", witch was false. But the teacher believed them and as a result, I spent all recess telling the teacher it wasn't true, that I never called them that way, without success and almost got a " yellow ticket" The worst part is when my " friend" came and saw everything. She just said "I don't believe you". The thing is I was (and still) known as the shy kid. Like, I was to shy to say hello to someone new in the first place, how did they thought it was possible for me to call a group of random people names?

1:02 as someone who has ADHD, this is too relatable. I tell them I have ADHD and other things and can't help them (I'm on meds but they don't work too much, I go to my developmental pediatrician soon) and they don't believe me until they check my IEP and realize how much of an asshole they were for no reason then apologize (yes I've had some teachers like that, a majority of them understood immediately but very few didn't). Nowadays though, if I ever have to deal with a teacher like that and they don't even try to understand or they only yell at me and that's it or whatever, I go right down to my caseworker. Even if they don't send me out of the room and they just keep yelling at me, I get up and go right to my caseworker bc that's considered discrimination towards an IEP student and I'm not tolerating that disrespect from a teacher that's supposed to help teach IEP students or even just students in general IEP or not. If they can't take the time to understand things like that, even try to understand at most, and can't have any patience then they should not be a teacher.

Even offered to take me to the councilor. And note passing? I once got my teachers with that. Teacher's birthday, I decided it'd be funny to pass around a "note". It was actually a hand-made birthday card and I had everyone sign it. Teacher finally noticed and snatched it. She was angry at first, and then she saw what it was. She kept it on the board for the rest of the year.

Also yes,I do end up talking for a good bit about topics like this involving teachers stressing students often because I need the information to get through the teachers thick skulls so they comprehend that its dangerous to give a kid the mindset that they're not doing enough, even though sometimes the LITERALLY CANT DO ANYTHING BECAUSW OF PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ILLNESS... Beating up a bully, getting into multiple fights, cursing my teacher out, and sleeping in class were my high school years. In my college years, it is proving professors wrong about certain concepts, and the students and professors hated me equally, while still appreciating my thought process.

Nah Mate, the only time I got in trouble at school was for something I didn’t even do 😭😭😭 The Story: we were supposed to draw an animal, and i was struggling, so my classmate asked if i needed help, and then I said “no” in a very polite voice, and he knew what he heard, but he told on me saying i screamed at him, i was a good boi, so i cried extremely hard, and everybody believed him so i got in trouble, we didn’t like eachother for like 8 months but eventually we forgot about it and we have good feelings about eachother.

I got punished in kindergarten for forgetting something. Since my self-esteem was reliant on being obedient, (I wasn't good at anything else) and this happened soon after my cats died, I now have mastigophobia and an intense, uncontrollable hatred for most teachers. So, I guess I was the nervous perfectionist. 😅😅😅

How did I get in trouble?! Well. When I was a 5th grade or year 7, I was on the path to being the perfect student, I always answered the questions and got them right and always helped others. One day, my friend who I'm gonna call Clara, was hit in the bonked by this guy were gonna call James. James, me and Clara had this running joke that we would bonk each other on the head. We didnt want to hurt anyone, it was just a little joke. One day James hit Clara on the head 10 times, it hurt. Clara, who was my friend, asked me to hit him on the head. I did, but softly, continuing the joke. The teacher found out and now my teacher finds reasons to hate me EVERYWHERE.

There's a lot you got like being late, running (I WAS RUNNING FROM THE CREEPY STUDENT MIND YOU!!) , Sleeping in class(sleep apnea diagnosed a few years after I graduated), not knowing the answer (my geometry teacher HATED ME!! at least I admitted I didn't honestly know), talking, reading manga the first two years of high school, ditching PE in middle and high school (I think they should ban that class as I couldn't do it when I was skinny even), and the two you didn't mention, saying a not inappropriate word that was banned I came up with (the preps asked for it to be banned since there was a scene/emo vs preps and jocks war at my high school and as MySpace famous scene kids my friend and I were the main targets), and of course trying to see my now ex and the preps snitched on me

There’s this one kid who had a breakdown in my class… every single day. Either because he didn’t do his homework (he never does) or just literally gets asked to read something in class and that’s it. And most of the time, both.

I got in trouble for cheating on a spelling test and swearing during grade school (in two separate occasions tho, not at the same time) and also for doodling in class back then. My third grade teacher was pretty chill about me doodling in class though, but my 2nd and 4th grade teachers? Not so much. After that, in 7th grade (took online school for a couple years after 4th grade), I got MUCH sneakier about my in-class doodling in my notebook and would always doodle on the paper bag book covers my mom made for me. Those book covers would be FILLED with drawings by like January I drew so much. :p
