Bolt, I'm in my third semester of CRNA school and I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to get to and through school. I learned much from your videos over the years and am thankful that you continue to put out great content even after you have left school. You're the G.O.A.T man. CRNA school is like drinking from a water fountain, but you learn, adapt, and get through it.

Hi Fritz, I know you are super busy, but would you say your 1st, 2nd and 3rd semester are similar to what Bolt covered? I imagine they are all going to be pretty standardized in the topics covered!

After nursing school, I vowed never to do anything like that again! I think I'll be staying in the ICU until I become a patient or retire. You have always made learning about CRNAs, and CRNA school, enjoyable. I appreciate how well you articulate information in your videos; your descriptions are detailed yet easy to understand.

I haven't started any of the schooling yet but wanted a clearer picture of what's in store. This covers a lot of the grad school layout, so I'll be able to do a lot of setup & self-assigned study ahead of time while I'm saving up and prepping for the next 2 years. Thanks so much!!!

I was just thinking the same thing. Hmm, I wonder if we can get access to syllabi for CRNA level graduate classes. That would show what textbooks they use and topics covered for advanced patho, pharmacology, neuro, cardiovascular, anatomy/physio, etc. Then we can get those books and start taking our own notes on the exact chapters and topics. Half the battle is really in setting up the notes and our system to learn the material!

Bolt, thank you so much for your in-depth analysis of your DNP courses and what to expect each semester. It was very informative. I just completed first semester of my CRNA DNP program, and I am starting my second semester in a week . Your analysis gave me ideas of what to expect each semester going forward. Thank you.

Is there any way you could make a video on what books and / or resources / readings we'd be pulling from throughout CRNA school? I'm trying to compile a list of stuff to pre-study so I can create my own schedule years in advance. I figured it would at least help me to better familiarize myself with the field and its nuances long before I actually get into CRNA school....since the sooner you learn things, the easier it is to memorize them later when you go over them again. Anyway, thanks again so very much for being so thorough with the class scheduling!!

Hi! I know this video is old, but I still wanted to comment since it’s valuable information. My question is: With such intense information, how do you actually learn and understand the information without just memorizing it? In all my prereqs for nursing school, it was basically all memorization and I didn’t actually truly learn anything. Is there a strategy you can recommend to learning? I’ll check your other videos as well. Thanks for all the info on your channel! 🤩

I know it might seem like a silly question but i’m in my mid 30s and decided to make either crna school or psych np school a goal of mine. My introverted personality is much more suited to crna and my curiosity with human behavior is more suited to psych np. I was wondering if you could make a video detailing what kinds of things someone who is not yet in their bsn program yet could begin to familiarize themselves with so that throughout nursing school and outside their first RN job, they are familiarizing themselves with how they should be thinking and what they can do to sort of “soften the blow” of crna school intensity, so to speak. In my free time and on weekends, I plan to be reading books and subscribing to all sorts of youtube channels that give practical content and even lectures on this subject matter so that by the time I am in a program, I am at least somewhat familiar with the material that would be most challenging for me. Thank you for all you do for this community. You are a huge reason why so many patients are going to have amazing crna’s taking care of them. God bless

I've been watching your videos for a while and finally will be applying to CRNA schools this summer :) I was wondering if you had any advice on how you managed your personal life during school? I don't know why it feels like a taboo subject because it seems like most people just like to scare you and say you'll never have time for anything else and that relationships will suffer etc... But what are breaks like in school for most programs? Do you get any days off or PTO? If I do start school next summer i"ll be having a wedding during the fall, and I just want to hear from someone that it can work out okay if I plan ahead. Same with buying a house and starting a family.. I'm willing to put in the work and make sacrifices that are needed but it would also be nice to hear that there's more to life during those years and ways to feel like a person while dealing with all of the stress. Thanks !

Great video man! I learned a lot! Happy nurses week! You’re a awesome CRNA! It takes a special person and skill to be a CRNA or anesthesiologist physician and you’re one of them! I really wanted to be a CRNA! I can’t wait until I find a boyfriend that’s gonna help me with my cerebral palsy and hock loogies for me, hocking loogies is a guy thing 😂! I’m gay too, you and your boyfriend are cute couple! I can’t drive because of my cerebral palsy, so I’m gonna get my all electric car and let other people drive it for me, I’m 33 from Memphis! I love your Tesla! Have you seen the all electric Mercedes eqs? It’s very cool! I really enjoy donating to the CRNA Foundation, since it was hard for me to go to college because of my cerebral palsy
