I never understand why they are called "Flex support" and "Main support" Where, the Flex is the main healer, and the "Main" is the off healer

I believe that it’s because the “Main support” the kits are usually to assist the team and provide utility beyond healing, while “flex support” main utility is healing because of their limited ability to help the team outside of heals. That is at least to my understanding

It's very recent for me to hear that flex and main support would at all correlate with main and off healer. I used to hear main/flex classifications where some flex supports would be main and off healers and some main supports would equally be main and off healers. My old understanding of flex and main supports is based on what sorts of skills they require. Main supports would require very unique skills that aren't transferrable between heroes, while flex supports don't have unique skills. Thus, a flex support player can switch between heroes with less effort, in other words be more flexible with their hero.

It's main support because thats the support your team has to play around. So, like mercy damage boosting for a poke comp, or lucio speeding a rush or dive comp. Meanwhile flex supports flex to what the team needs. Do you need more damage and an ult to stop the enemies playmaking ults? Then go zen. Do you need a hit scan with burst healing and lamp? Then go bap. Etc. Think of the main support as the cornerstone of the team, and not as a healbot.

My pet peeve is that your 2nd support (atleast in my games) dont usually think they have the right to heal you when ur also on support which is weird asf. But ive had so many other supports that ignore me or a certain dps and js FOCUS on tank like tunnel vision crazy.

It is hitscan. The reason it doesn’t hit is hitbox breakpoints. Marblr made a video about it I think…

It IS hitscan. High noon has its own "point" on each hero for its detection. These are bugs specific to high noon hit detection
