Oddly enough as a Hispanic, Russian salad always found its way into family dinners. A key difference we do is beets instead of pickles/gherkins, which gives the salad a nice pinkish tint that is really tasty. Happy to see this!

I loved the salad! To be honest with you **and I'm from Canada, but my Nana was from England** the salad looks very familiar to what we or I would put together as a potato salad. Although I've never added cooked peas, carrots, or chicken to my potato salad I'm am now seriously considering it. Thanks, Konstatin! And I love the shirts with the bigger "K".

In portugal we do alot of russian salad. We do everything the same like you except for the chicken. Ours dont have any chicken in it. It's just the potatoes, carrots, pickles, eggs and mayo
