The new gym system is boring. I usually go out late at night and look for mystic gyms (my team) with at least 1 spot open and hope my pokémon lasts over night because of the 50 coin max...

HAHAHA Same thing I do for my team Instinct, most coins I can get is like 10 before the morning comes and Mystic usually take back the gyms xD. The new gym system needs a better reward system like "defender streak" where if your pokemon stays longer it can get more rewards possible items/coins. And only 6 pokemon in the gym - I can solo it in like less than 5minutes, need to increases from 6 - 10 again

Something needs to be done with gym reward system ASAP!! I understand they don't want to award more than 50 coins a day, doesn't bother me at all, I never used to get more than that with the old system anyway. The thing is, gyms don't make sense right now, they follow a counter - intuitive system: People don't want to stay longer than 8h and 20min and odds are they won't want to stay in more than one gym. I myself found 1 or 2 gyms that hold on for that time and I simply don't care for the rest anymore. There must be SOME reward after those 8h, stardust, xp, something! Otherwise there's no interest in feeding berries or keeping gyms for longer or competition between teams. At least of the least give the option to take the pokemon back after those hours because it's useless there and even with the motivation at minimum it doesn't get kicked unless someone battles it once first, that makes no sense. Contrarily to what Niantic seems to believe I see way less gym turnover now, without a doubt, the system doesn't work like that as it is right now.

I have made an Excel (using your Google Sheets of Pkg Poke-attacks) to know wich Pokemon (and attack combination) will make more damage (you have to put the defender type or types and it will give you the best attacker). Hey Nick love your videos. Wanted to put in some facts you might already know but many players ive met arent aware of. The final damage counter on raids only counts the last team each player uses. We tested this out with exactly the same group of 15 in a private group over 6 raids to get our last Articunos. Majority valor players but it didn't matter. Sometimes mystic got the max bonus, sometimes instinct did too. The key is not letting your most damaging 6 pokes die at all. The proportion of teams still matter as it gives a team more chance at the bonus, but it is not as set in stone as people think. Again love your videos, especially the one on go fest. My friends and i have a KZbin too but very local and nowhere near your popularity If you want check it out we have like 7 episodes out. Goventure time.
