@@Space-nutz dude, the super mario park in the us is located inside the universal studios, so the ticket you pay to visit it is just the ticket for the studios. The bracelet appears to only serve a purpose in the interactive stuff and if you just want to hang around while you visit the rest of it, you're free to without additional charges. Expensive? Yes. Unfair? Don't think so, it's not a park on its own that costs like 150$, it's an extension of another park. Don't think the design was optimal at all, but you can't expect nintendo to pay for all that stuff and receive little to no income from it. To receive any income from that park they would've had to parasite universal studios' gains and this kind of deal would've NEVER existed. I've seen around the argument of "it takes them 10 dollars to make and they sell it for 40". You also need to consider how stupidly hard it is to maintain a place like that both clean and functioning. Like all those sensors, code and mechanical parts require a squad of highly qualified people. That's not the kind of work you get away with hiring random dudes and paying them minimal wage.

I would be more excited for this is the power up band didn't cost a whopping $40, and pretty much the only thing you can do without it is ride the ride and eat food.
