Man, out of all Trump's picks, this (and John Ratcliffe's appointment to a slightly lesser extent) is the one that I HATE. Marco Rubio is and has always been a warmongering neocon. Trump should NOT cozy up to neocons again, not only because it was very detrimental for him in the first time around but also because his anti-war stance was a major other reason (after the economy and illegal immigration) that caused many people to vote for him. Elise Stefanik has also historically been more hawkish on foreign policy, but has moved closer to Trump’s views of late. I can't imagine Marco Rubio doing the same 😕. Pete Hegseth tho... Now that's a great pick 👍.
