We need to use critical thinking here , now given that Trump has four years in power and this Gaza proposal will likely take 10/15 years to complete . This should tell you it's not Trumps idea , it's American foreign policy . My guess is this will never happen because the Gazans will not leave . The only thing that could make Palestinians leave is if America financially compensated every Palestinian to relocate elsewhere .

75 years conflict, removing the 3% Jewish homeland (after 2000 years of persecution) 99% Jews driven from the other 97% Arab lands... Try another idea for peace? The Ottoman Empire break up resulted in huge upheaval of many local tribes there - as happens in every war. Two small details, re Ethnic cleansing. In 1948, around 150,000 Palestinian Arabs remained in the area that became Israel. They were granted Israeli citizenship and the right to vote. In 2024, the total number of Palestinians was estimated to be around 14.9 million. "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad" (Hamas Charter, Article 13) Defined as removing every non Muslim. Sadly, I do understand most will reject any facts that they don't like.
