Sounds like if it wasn’t for the government it would make sense.

.....Insurance.......and other things that MAKE me a responsible well owner? I didn't realize i was irresponsible..,? Stop creating false bullcrap for people.. No one needs this guy to tell them they need to be responsible for anything. This guy should come to my house so he can supervise the washing of my truck.

Calm down - he's telling you what the regulations are. He has no beef with you. If you didn't understand his point, this is it: like it or not, there are things you have to do, in Ohio, if you want to legally run a well on your property. I suppose, because you seem to need telling, that if you choose to do it illegally, ultimately the law will catch up with you; it almost always does

Fascinating. My sister's house in Mahoning County, Ohio, has a dedicated natural gas pipeline to the house [its just a buried 2 inch plastic hose that is at least 1/4 mile long.] But when they purchased the house they chose not to use the gas because that would have required agreements of various sorts including maintenance of the well itself which fed a number of other homes. I was never clear on the entire thing. For instance the history of the well. How many homes had free gas, and how much gas was sold by the well owner into the market and so on. [The well was sold on condition certain properties would always have free gas.] Its all rather interesting to me. Its been going on for decades.

I have got a hole in my yard that gas is coming out of I have called everyone to see what to do about it I cannot get no answers I had to build like a chimney around the hole and then set it on fire due to the gas going everywhere I do not know what he is talking about Brian water or oil I have nothing like that coming up this whole thing is nothing but a dirt hole there is no natural gas pipeline running nowhere near my property the good thing about it is that I can roast marshmallows whenever I want to or light a cigarette whenever I feel like it without a lighter I think I am going to try to fill it in with a concrete slurry
