What You Need To Know Before You Breakthrough In Honkai Impact

For the people out there that are scared to breakthrough, you're going to be fine lol. I brokethrough as soon as I hit 80, with the most scuffed team imaginable. I only had Swallowtail Phantasm and Griseo for my Physical team and Silverwing, Haxxor Bunny and Yamabuki Armor (I know she's not ice) for my Ice team. I didn't even have the sig weapons and stigmata for Silverwing lmao. I also don't have a fire team or a lightning team built. Do I regret breaking through? Absolutely not. Sure, enemies are harder now but I'm earning a lot more crystals now for every Abyss reset, even though I'm only at Agony 2, Memorial Arena gives out a lot more rewards now, the ability to grind mats for Pri-Arms and I'm actually able to earn Ancient Legacy now, which is huge for me because I want to get Elysia from the shop, without rolling for her. Anyways, since then, I'm Lv. 83 now and my ice team has gotten better. I now have the signature weapon and stigs for Silverwing, and I also built Pardofelis when I found out she has perfect synergy with Silverwing and Haxxor Bunny.

Yes, like I said in the video you can still get around 200 crystals each superstring cycle with casual play. Absolutely no downside in waiting. Do not forget those captain xp chips when you turn in missions for more xp.

@@Someone-pb9ji 5 months???? Guys, are you all serious? I reached 30lvl under one day and after that I leveled up from 30 to 80 +- in a month. I'm playing IN GENERAL only near 3 month's and have my exp capped for a decent while. Huh, no wonder everyone is suggesting breakthrough if it took them to reach 80 lvl THAT LONG -_- By the 5th month I dunno what I could have. I already have HoH, 4/4 Su Shang, and great f2p stigmata for Haxxor(+B signature piece). Few days ago I got Aponia from 1 pull so she's not even leveled properly for now, lol(but that already means 3/3 electro team). And my SS Durandal is quite good with fire dmg despite she's having only 50% of it, and S Raven with f2p fu hua stigmata is not that much of a support(and 3rd member of fire team is absent at all). What if I get actual phys damage dealer in the rest 2 month, as I got Aponia? It would be a game-changer. That will be whole another story with a lot less doubts to breakthrough. Or I may get extra fire/electro/frost damager(or even 1 of each?...) which will GREATLY reduce Yae/Benares difficulty. The whole abyss/arena thing is about if you have enough valkyries or not(for elemental case), and do your have phys damager or not. Nothing else really matters that much. And those factors are basically depending on game time, which noone seems considering when giving their advises about breakthrough. Breaking through after leveling up to 80 in a month and in 6 months is a WHOLE ANOTHER STORY.

i have unbuilt Pardo, S rank ice Sakura and Haxor in my ICE team Phoenix, S rank Raven, S rank VG Durandal, Flame Sakura my best fire valks Senti my most powerful valk with her signature weapon, HoV, Shadow Dash with Jizo, unbuilt Starlit Astrologos Theresa, S rank Swallowtail Seele, Evil Bronya and og Sakura as my best physical valks For lightning i have Lightning Empress, S rank Eden, Yae Kasumi, unbuilt Fischl and idk what i have for lightning ... also i don't have a lot of stigs and weapons, although i have HoV and HoS signature weapon and some divine keys like Star of Eden for evil bronya and Jizo for SD Mei, Judgement of Shamash for Knight Moonbeam Kiana and Cleaver of Shamash for Rozaliya or Blood Rose Himeko well so please tell me if these valks and equipment will carry me in the breakthrough, i do grind a lot but lately I've been busy with studies so I'm afraid i won't have enough time for grinding and will miss out on cool rewards

I just started 6 days ago I hit lvl 53 today but I never spend crystals for stamina the grind is real tho now I'm at this spot when I still have 80 some days to farm 45 pulls to get s1 hof or better hos I already have AE HOF and ss raven working towards sss I got hof weapon one stigmata and also ae weapon and Fuhua set of stigmata I would consider getting one more himeko or full set but hos is to good to be skipped I'm trying to get her since I got all those just in 2 multi and I got ae from dorm supply ... and already been buying stuff for 6 staring my weapons I also see no harm at it great video man thanks a lot for this tips I appreciate this video a lot I'm subbing

I think you can get the same 420 crystals you get now, but it may vary sometimes with 380. I think you can retain agony II or III

i have been waiting for lvl 81 sins lvl 60 the moment i start the game i got H-O-EGO and from than all my game deband on her so i got her weapons and i scrafic alot of rear weapons to upgard her weapon than change it to pri-arm weapon than scrafic weapons to get einstin somethings to upgard the pri-arm weapon but i couldn't because it need me to reach lvl 81 know i am lvl 80 just singl step away and i am there.

I can casually top 3 RL and rank up to Nirvana every 3 cycles and im only monthly/bp player. You dont need much whaling to keep RL, its more about having versatile account to clear multiple weathers. People also dont know the strenghts of divine keys and dorm valkyries buffs

Been playing since July 2024, and now I'm currently lvl 80. Do I need to breakthrough rn? I still can't clear red lotus. Always stuck on floor 6 above. Any thoughts what I should do? The Valkyries I mainly used as dps is Thelema and Songque. The have their stigmata but not their sig weapons. Other than those, I have the free ones from astrite shops. And their still not fully built yet.

@Ellise_eslrc it doesn't hurt to breakthrough, it unlocks other ways to earn materials for PRI arms (the 6 stat version). Also Honkai tends to do some merch events where if you are level 88, they give you boosts. I did breakthrough as soon as I could but keep in mind you will have a harder time in the ranking because you will be going against the maxed out whales

@@Ellise_eslrc yea np, also keep in mind that they made the gacha easier to get valkyries, so crystals really shouldn't be a problem these days. So ranks Agony 2 or 3 plus Elysian realm 2.25 difficulty gives you about a good 1000 crystals a week

You only breakthrough whenever you choose to, you can stay as long as you want. However you will have no access to PRI weapons until you breakthrough

Whales are only in Nirvana. You will start in Agony III now if you are in masters RL on breakthrough since 5.8 patch, they give same amount of crystals, no loss, no reason to not breakthrough quickly. Especially if you play on global where competition is much more lax, Agony III will be a cakewalk no harder than masters RL, with much better side rewards.

Wait until you have the exp to jump to lv. 81, otherwise you'll be in Exalted with no ability to get to pri-arms

Okay, it was a really informative video but I still have some questions left. How much more time it needed to clear 88lvl content vs 80lvl? Like, in therms of time spent on the battlefield. You already said that abyss will have 4 floors expect of 10, but regular abyss also has 5 "extra" floors(for actually setting competitive score) - are they present in the SS as well? (so it's 4+5 or 4 only?...). Also "lite" option in MA seems available from time to time, but not everytime(tho plaything through a C-S doesn't take /that/ much time...). But what about SSS levels? Like, enemies will have 2x hp, 5x, 10x??? ___ Maybe it's overexaggerating but after deceitful ER I'm not trusting in linear difficulty scale. Like Shroud difficulty is a piece of cake for any newly added unleveled valkyrie and takes no time, but when you moving just a little up to the Inferno it suddenly becomes x2-x3 as long at it was in shroud. And that's only f*cking Inferno, going to Absistence with not top-geared valkyrie is suicide, it can take 10-20(!!!!!)x longer time to beat it(if at all). But when you take +-geared valkyrie that difference magically dissapears(like HoH with only her bow and 4*[!!!] basic stigmata). So I wonder if Superstring/Exalted vs Q-s/ma difference is same as Inferno vs Shroud or Abstinence vs Inferno in ER... Because there was time when I took my average S lavkyrie and spent 20+ minutes(!!!) on maybe 4 or 3 ER floors... That was ridiculously stupid and I hated game in that moment, because no matter how skilled were my rotations, it was practically unbeatable because I hadn't enough some numbers. So I'm going to Abstinence only with Herrscher Elysia(despite her 4* standard stigmatas), because somehow my other valks can't do it(even "4/4" Su Shang takes a waaay more time then 1/4 Elysia to beat Abstinence). P.S. I only started playing near 2-3 month ago, have only Key of Ego and Nocturnal Stealth limited weapons, and "signature" stigmata only for Su Shang. I still don't have any good physical dmg dealer(pink elf/hov/Stygian Nymph damage is not comparable to elemental teams, I'd say it at least two times lower), not saying extra elemental damage dealers(for Yae Kasumi/Benares/etc). It's like 3/3 frost team, 2.5/3 electro team, 1.5 fire team, 0.75 phys team. When there's no physical-demanding boss on MA I'm doing okay with the score and can even hit 3-5%, but with one present it's hard to keep even 7%...(in worst case it was even 10%, because of Yae Kasumi). So for me it feels like if you already playing for a year+ and have a lot of top valkyries and gear - then for sure, why not breakthrough and get some more rewards. But if for only ~200 crystals it'll double or triple completion time(or it even produce failure on some bosses??) that's too much price for it\ Especially knowing that Honkai is being released years ago and I can't be sure if I even had that much time of farming even 1 pri weapon(if I started playing on release - I'd leveled up immediately without any of these concerns, but alas).

To be sure to not be so behind in the abyss, you can try to max out a few valks before going into it. PRI is a huge difference in damage and you can easily farm those materials once you breakthrough. At first you will be behind everyone else but for sure it is easy to maintain high agony rank in abyss at a minimum.

@@signumxmagnumBreakthrough is 100% worth it no matter how you see it. PRI is a huge weapon boost plus it gives you 2 more weapon skills than the base weapon

You only breakthrough when you decide to, you can max out lvl 80 without having to breakthrough. I would say go for it if you do not really care about high ranks in competitive modes. You get access to PRI materials once you breakthrough too so you can start farming them.

this system that locks you out of pri arms before lvl 80 is the biggest Garbage ive seen in Honkai. It takes for EVER to get even to lvl 80 and i doubt even 5% of casuals gonna get there just because of the time investment required. I reached 80 today and it took me 6 MONTH with every event and dayli shit (granted some days only half done because of time but come on). Good video....i read Breakthrough and thought "please dont tell me all that time could have been skiped" xD

With this new update they made it so leveling up is way easier, I heard lvl 81+ is unchanged though. PRI I see is meant for endgame so it kind of makes sense to have it locked behind the breakthrough, however it is not too fair for everyone since you won't be able to make it higher in competitive unless you actually upgrade your PRI weapons.

Once you breakthrough it will unlock ways to farm a PRI materials for weapons so I say just go for it

I just wanna know one thing.... Can I farm more ancient legacy after breakthrough? I won't be able to compete well above agony iii... So in agony iii, are the ancient legacy rewards better than before breaking through? I really wanna farm AL and get Elysia... That's why 🥲

At every tier of agony it gives 17 ancient legacy and sinful is 13 legacies. Not confusing it with ancient willpower. It also gives you a chest that you can choose from x10 ancient willpower or x3 einstein torus(PRI material)
