Amen on the pain it causes to our hands. I really wish the clients understood that part. Or do they and just don't care all they want is what they want. I feel the regular box braids last longer on short hair. I love the look of the knottless.

Yep, same gel I use to do My braids after wearing a pixie, my hair was about the same length when I started growing it back out and this gel was the key to getting it seamless. Kept my braids nice for a long time without having to add a lot of other products over time

So you can’t really say how many braids go in each row because everyone’s head is different. Some people head maybe wider or longer or more compact and it’ll be less or more braids it all depends . There is no exact number

So it can be done. I don’t know why all these braiding shops keep refusing to braid my hair (I have a grown out pixie). They keep telling me I can get traditional box braids but not knotless.

It can be done just by the right person honestly. I will say people usually don’t want to braid short hair like this cause it does strain your hands . But keep looking you’ll find someone
