I have a BLUETTI EB3A . I THINK IT'S the smallest one. My daughter took it on a 3 day camping trip with her friends and boyfriend. She was able to keep 4 cell phones charged up for 3 days. It helped keep them charged so they had service while camping. They all were grateful for it. I love BLUETTI.

@lolesoffroad makes sense that the single most important off grid accessory which is your heater is wood . Food , shelter and heat are the 3 basic principles in any home or survival situation. I have a fireplace and 2 kerosene heaters if our power goes out . Last year my furnace went kaput in the middle of Dec during that freeze in the Lower Mainland. My 25,000 btu kerosene heater kept us warm actually toasty 2500 sq foot house . They are reliable but not veh or rv friendly. Work great in the shop , house . Just keep good ventilation. Run on bio diesel too !

@lolesoffroad I have a 24000 btu convection kerosene heater and a 11000 btu radiant kerosene heater both made by Keroworld. Amazon sells them now . Canadian Tire used too . Don't see them anymore. Guys on utube have tried different fuels . Diesel mixed with isopropyl alcohol, bio diesel, olive oil, vegtable or corn oil , lamp oil , even filtered used engine oil . The heaters claim to burn 99.9 efficient and safe for indoors use . They love cold weather and I've yet to change a wick in 10 years. They are sre lifesavers . Kids prefer them to bonfires while camping . The big one I can cook on or make coffee . I take mine camping or to the soccer field or on the patio. Would be great for hunters .

I am just starting my van build! I am ready to buy a back up power source and I have been seeing the Bluetti more and more as an option! I have solar, a dry cell battery, 3000 watt inverter..... but I need a back up. This was a great video. I am building a Ford Transit to start my journey from Newfoundland to Alaska, with zero experience. I find your videos a great source of information! I wish I had room for a wood stove, but I have a diesel heater for now. Maybe when I upgrade to a bigger van, I will get the wood stove! Love your videos!

Hey kitten That’s so amazing from Newfoundland to Alaska that be epic. It’s good to have a backup power, in any situation, I’m not familiar with dry cell batteries But this is what I can tell you, test out everything before you hit the road, make sure that the power bank can support the daily usage. That’s very critical in cold temps I know I been true that, with my diesel heater in the middle of the night a run out of power. So make sure you add all the power usage and figure out if it’s good for one day two days with out having any sun and no driving. I have a diesel heater to and I love it specially in the cold mornings , but yes they are using a bit of energy. I hope will see you on the road H ac pot travels ✌️

I believe bluetti has the best quality and not a horrible price but the price of lithium batteries have really come down over the years. I plan to wire my own system and have a portable system as well. I definitely want one of those tiny wood stoves. I'm waiting on the price to come down a bit more before I buy a stove or solar stuff. I have a couple of years so I'll wait a while longer. As I'm watching your video, I'm thinking I'm really going to want to be able to stand and a box truck would be ideal. 😅 who knows maybe I will change my mind and end up with a small box truck. I'm saving money now so we shall see what happens down the road. Even though I will have a minivan to start, I still think that a wood stove would be best. If I plan to live in it here for a year to save money, it gets really cold here in the winter so I know I'll need it. I will probably have a little diesel heater as a backup as well though. I want to have as many creature comforts as I can since it will become my permanent dwelling. Happy trails!

Hello Yes I agree with you I love Bluetti It’s doing the work and well built. I do have a full wired in system with 3 lithium 300 ah I need more do will change to 600ah But the mobility is a huge bonus Can take it to the camp fire to the lake to run the shower , convince. Not sure about the wood stove prices Sometimes they have sales, but yes I payed $1400 about 5 years ago I personally like to keep the length under 22 feet anything over that it’s a hassle But I’m sure you’ll figured out 🙏😎✌️

What brand is that small wood stove? Do you like it. Let me know. I am going to get one for my cottage. My cottage is 8x12. And by next year I'm gonna have one. Yup. You want good ones! I heated my home for 35 years with wood burning stoves. I miss it. I can find all kinds of downed wood. That fan really helps spread that heat too. I'm also going to get a solar system set up so even if electricity fails I'll have the electricity I need. I could just sit at night by my tiny wood burning stove - and talk to my fur faces. Read and relax! I would like to have a fridge that could run on a power bank. I cook with propane on my cook stove in my RV. I also have a big cooker outside, I can cook with propane or charcoal and it is set up for smoking also. It has a big burner for cooking with pans on it that uses Propane - so I can cook a big meal outside. Gonna set up an outside kitchen too. I'll have electric from city system - but I want set up so I can make do without it - and still run my fridge. That's the main thing and charge phone and computer. Also internet that can run on solar. That's perfect temp. 68/69! Awesome info Loren. Thanks so much!!! Granny Lee
