zoom has an inbuilt whiteboard that comes with the share screen option. Here, you can even disable annotations from other members while you are teaching, and enable it when you want the pupils to interact.

Aww, so sweet! I just replied to a comment on another video before seeing this one. Yeah! It was exactly planned, haha. During that time I had been waking up early to record videos, so you will see a few videos where Isaac pops up at the end. Since his dad would be getting ready for work, I would just hold him as I finish recording. How old is your little one?!

Hey Marcel! Great question. I create invoices using Square, but some tutors prefer using Stripe or PayPal. I generate automatic invoices on either a bi-weekly or monthly basis, so payment for sessions is collected before the session takes place!

Hi- great video. Can you tell me what software you would recommend if I'm teaching adobe illustrator online? Would you still recommend Zoom for this? I want to be able to share my screen and sometimes the student may need to share their screen too. Thanks.

Hey there! Yes, on zoom you can both share your screen and allow participants to share their screen as well. I would just look at their specific plans as their free plan features changed recently (at least in the US).

Hello Sonia, may i know if students have to download zoom before joining the meeting/lesson? Since most students have already had Skype, do you think Skype works witb bitpaper like what you have shown? Tks

Hey Lisa! Zoom does not to be downloaded by participants if they are using the computer. They can access the call via URL without ever downloading anything or signing in. I'm not entirely sure what it would look like if you were to do it using Skype. You can definitely use Skype + BitPaper (as you are sharing the BitPaper page link, and it's not really connected to Skype) but I'm not sure if you'll be able to see your student's video in the upper right-hand corner, as you can with Zoom. Hope that answers your question!

Btw, if it is a small group tutoring, i am wondering if bitpaper can be shared/viewed/written over more than 2 people. If you have any insight, hope you can share. Hey Lisa! Yes, both are separate. (It can be difficult to clarify things via video, so I'm glad you're asking questions!) Yes, BitPaper can be used for groups! The way BitPaper works is you will create a paper, and when you do that, a custom link is created. You can then share that link with all students in the tutoring session. I would guess that if it's a very large group (say, over 15, it could potentially cause lags). I would refer to their Facebook Page for updates. I do know they have been experiencing some issues lately due to a huge influx of new users! facebook.com/bitpaper.io/
