With the introduction of the “Welcome to ServiceNow course” nowlearning.servicenow.com/lxp?id=learning_course_prev&course_id=023708df1bc0119cf95e99b8bd4bcb76 - non-sys admins may want to focus on this lighter version of an introduction to the platform than the ServiceNow Fundamentals Course. Although, many (PMs, BA, etc.) may still want to pursue their certification. Just wanted to mention the new course.

where do you pass the exam ?

I'm planning to take the ServiceNow CSA exam in person, and I'm ready to pay the $300 exam fee. However, when I tried to pay through the "webassessor" link, it prompted me to enter a voucher code. I don't have a voucher code, but it seems it's required to proceed with payment and attend the exam. Can someone assist me with obtaining the voucher? Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi. To be able to take the certification exam, you have to purchase a voucher. The voucher is only available for purchase after you take to related ServiceNow Now Learning course. For CSA, it’s the ServiceNow System Administration Fundamentals (SNAF) Course. So after csa the next cert should be developer?

Hi. Not necessarily, although it is a common 2nd step. The Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is more so aligned to custom applications and the like. Another certification to consider going for is the Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (aka CIS-ITSM). If you're currently employed in a SN role now, speak with your management, if not, take a look at a few job descriptions posted for roles you may want to pursue and then look at the requirements. You may be surprised to see more often that CIS-ITSM is requested over CAD, but it's all up to you. Either one of those are common 2nd certs that people get.
