Before my husband and I had even met while in high school, he told his friend, "I'm going to marry that girl." When we finally met I wasn't impressed, so he had to work a little harder. He eventually won me over just by opening the car door for me. He still does it to this day. We are married 37.5 years now.

I loved that video because as a child of an interracial relationship it makes me happy to see couples like ya'll. I'm 48 years old now so it was a little harder to gain acceptance as a mixed kid back in the day and I had to do alot of fighting lol. That first video was on Tara's personal channel I believe and it really blew up. I pray you two make it together for life. You're such an inspiration for many. ❤

When I found y’all last your vids. I love your smiles and giggles! You vibe so well. Your wedding brought happy tears to my eyes. Congrats! I started dating in college 1979. My first boyfriend (Craig Bayless) was white. Craig played basketball and I was a cheerleader. That was a different time. We really liked one another. Unfortunately society rejected this. 18:02 Sometimes I wonder what happened to him… My first marriage was a “bust,” The 2nd marriage happened when at 60, my now husband maintained a platonic friendship.
