Dude I loved watching this video! I had a smile on my face for the whole of it because I've been trying to find a solution to decipher this song for days and you made everything come together and it really finally made sense in my mind. Thank you a lot! ✌🏻

As soon as you played this last week with the new Sire, I put this in my working on list!! I haven't even listened to this yet, and I'm sure it's going to be another classic lesson!!

You have some great concepts here. I really love the lydian angle. Also the line that leads into the F#m chord (going high to low G# G F# C# F#). I do believe however that it is not a ii V in the intro and at the bridge - those are octave A's. Also a key bass thing here that I noticed is after those octave A's, on the D he plays the 5 (A) and then on the C#m he hits that high minor 3rd (E on the G string) - both in the opening and on the bridge. Really enjoyed your take on it though.

I know so far the chords (been so long since I've played it) is Dmaj7 / C# aug 5th #9 / F#m7 / B9 and that G is a G7 6+9 that's the basic chords you're working with, forgot the turn around done got senile lol...
