A friend of mine has been writing a fic around Muse arg stuff (dftm?), and I've been helping her bounce ideas. She linked me to this a few months ago and I just keep coming back to it. It's so sweet, and so, so lovely. Eugene really should think about recording a cleaner version. I love the choices made in covering the song- paring down the instruments to just the piano, and the tempo seems slower than the original. I'm not much of a singer, but I think getting emotion across in song is hard and requires real skill/talent and Eugene sounds like he's living this song. I hope to hear more from him someday.
