As someone who reached legendary 1, i can tell you it doesn't get better. I would've gotten legendary 1 first season too but some random decided that my suggestion of him playing surge (his only maxed brawler other than edgar) was not good enough so he picked edgar against brawlers with too much dps and push/stun for him to be effective (the only brawler i can remember on their team is spike, which is a hard counter, but i know their entire comp was a hard counter to edgar) Needless to say, Tomar753 had 0 kills and his contribution to our game was an earthshattering 12000 healing, HEALING

It is, you play gamemodes you don't like woth modifiers you don't like with bots on your team. after the easy ranks where you stomp, you get to a point of mid difficulty so you tough it out for the legendary star drop, then you get mad when you are 1 match away for the 5th time, you get the drop, you keep pushing since now you can't rank down, get mad at teammates, win 5 matches in a row for 60 elo each, lose two matches for 120 elo each, get even more angry, play some more and leave you repeat this process since "you're too close to the next reward" but in realuty those 80 points you need for the reward take 20 matches, always because of some bullshit reason like: -braindead teamates -stupid gamemode -stupid modifier -lag -bullshit interaction you didn't know about -enemies remaining at 1-20 hp multiple times in the same match and don't even get me started on the "randomness" of the events I SWEAR half the matches in ranked are bounty, a third of what's left is knockout, the other gamemodes are equay likely except for the only fun gamemode which is Brawl Ball that almost never shows up, and when it does some idiot leaves the match and now you'll never find it again

If you cant get to diamond 1, youre genuinely horrible but its okay. If youre hardstuck diamond, you're not good at the game and you always have or are the bad teammate. (Mythic isnt much better) (I climbed to legend at 5.8k trophies)

I had such a situation. I was playing with friends so that I would reach Legendary 1 and they would reach Master. Against us, the opposing team was matched with Master players on the battle card, and we won with ease. I checked their profiles, and those players had 10,000 trophies 🤷. (When we play this match I was a Mythic 3 , my friends L1 , Now I have L1)

i just lost a game of gemgrab because my teamates (8-bit and bea) get beaten in a 2v1 against edgar the entire match while i alone was left to get the gems and fight the jackie (who was masters for two seasons) and jessie on the enemy team (as mico, don't judge, it's a solid gem carrier and his super can help recover the gems, if against squishy brawlers or throwers can act as offensive defence for the main gem carrier) this is diamond 3, i'm trying to get back to legendary but randoms don't want me to, and i only get bullshit modes like bounty and knockout instead of the goated Brawl Ball (8000 3v3 matches on my account, most likely 7500 of them are on brawl ball)
