What Your Eyes Are Telling You About Your Health

Iridology is the study of the “iris”, the exposed nerve endings which make up the coloured part of the eye. The colours and the many structural variations which can be viewed in each iris are the genetically determined evidence of your uniqueness. You will learn how to examine and analyse the iris in order to interpret signs that may indicate the client’s general constitution and their genetic susceptibility to particular conditions, and whether their organs and tissues are inflamed, toxic or under stress.
The College of Naturopathic Medicine offers short courses and diploma courses in Nutrition, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Health Coach, and Natural Chef. Our courses are available in person or online.

Whe I was growing up I live in a small town and a herbalist and iridologist would come every 3 months or so and people would be up at 3-4 in the morning waiting in line to see him. He would look at their eyes and give all the herbs that you needed. And you would get better or need more treatments and he would continue coming to town. We rarely went to the doctor.

My eyes appear GREEN with an orange ring around my pupils. I notice you didn't mention green. Would you categorize green/orange as "mixed"? When I was much younger, early teens, my eyes were often called "hazel" but then they settled into green..

yellow over the blue makes green, orange indicates pancreas, yellow that is pale indicates kidneys, mustard yellow is the gallbladder. My name is Deborah, I am a practicing iridologist btw.

@@heartwisdomlove that is fascinating, thank you so much for responding! If you don't mind, I have another question. I haven't developed pancreas problems, but my brown-eyed daughter has type 1 diabetes. Is a sort of hereditary correlation possible?
