💡 moment: The reason why Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass had such a profound impact on me as an (undiagnosed) autistic child is because Alice falls into a world where the rules of engagement are constantly changing, and the cast of characters refuse to really understand her (except for direct communication Cheshire Cat). I was diagnosed autistic at 29 y/o and it ALL. MADE. SENSE. why had I been saying since I read both at 10 y/o that if people wanted to understand what it meant to live as me and in me, these books get. it. Way before it was clocked I was autistic to BOOT.🐰

So for the next video I'll play roast bingo. I have a friend who knows Proust inside out and it's her favourite. Here in Poland it's also common among older generation to know Sienkiewicz's Trilogy by basically rereading it as soon as they've finished.
