@Arthur Brown Although I like new HH more, I still agree with your opinion. When the MH teams update weapons, they usually keep the same players, let's just say that they don't change the weapon enough to change its playerbase. When they updated HH, they changed the weapon enough to change its playerbase, and thus in my opinion it is a different weapon. Though, maybe Heavy and Light HH isn't the best approach, Capcom should bring back the old one while still keeping new HH and seperate them further.

@Arthur Brown Sounds right. One (the old) could be a more high risk-high reward playstyle, something maybe even more dedicated to buffs than the new one. The new could be a more intense, DB version kinda. As for visual design, they should absolutely be distinct but I'm way too underqualified to say somethin' like "the new one's a maraccas". So the new one could be maybe more dedicated to inflicting elemental blights and ailments as well as reduce stagger etc. Idk I just like that idea.

I use Gunlance cus its an underrated weapon that can dish out Angry Karen in a male dominant resturaunt levels damage, with surprising mobility, and the option to still use a shield and barely stagger... ...I also like blowing things up :3

As a longsword main, I should've gone for the hammer or for the bowguns, because longsword has like 2 high damage moves and requires 3 to cleave the tail. While with hammer I can just bonk the monster in the head and with the bowguns, I can just shoot the bloody thing.
