​@@Ambatufakingkam Giorno's Stand can be used to do two things without the Requiem form: 1 - Injection of life force through punches to slow down reactions to throw opponents off. 2 - Convert non-living things into living things, which return to where the non-living thing belongs to. This can be used to turn a cell phone into a snake that pursues whoever owned it or even to heal ones' self through inserting bodymass matching up to one's own body for two examples. With Requiem, it's basically a fairly conceptual power capable of negating...just about any attack, as well as sending opponents into death loops.

I always liked the idea of making Steve get his own fight, and I was dissapointed when they showed they weren't doing Steve VS Emmet. I would love to see a stop motion death battle if it had those two characters. However, I constantly want see more book characters be used. Notable examples include Percy Jackson (From... well Percy Jackson) VS Harry Potter, or Alex Stowe (From The Unwanteds series) VS Kaitness Everdeen.

As cool as it would be to get a Total Drama character in a Death Battle, I doubt Chris would be the first choice. He’s not like the contestants he likes to torture. He is (physically) a normal guy. Granted, he does have a few fancy toys here and there along with some bombs. But he’s got no physical feats or combat experience. Chef or one of the winning contestants are all better picks for a TD rep because Chef actually gets down and dirty with his work, and winners like Owen, Duncan, and Heather are the best of the best.

I genuinely hate gojo Vs makima, neither have good themes, one is a parody whilst another is a trope taken to the extreme, the analysis is painful, to talk about ANY of makima's powers is to spoil parts of chainsaw man that may not be animated for years, honestly makima shouldn't be on death battle in general due to how little her powers were explained, the two have no opportunity for banter, and gojo Vs kisuke is a better matchup in nearly every way, this is coming from someone who loves chainsaw man. I kinda get it, people want to see two characters they love Duke it out, but if you want chainsaw man Vs jjk, just do yuji Vs denji

@@mystic_absol7808 I agree that Makima's story is over, however Nayuta's isn't. I'm not hugely familiar with the manga, however shouldn't Makima and Nayuta scale? Therefore, any ability Nayuta uses you could argue that Makima could have also used (to a certain extent, as if Nayuta just made an entirely new contract I wouldn't give Makima those powers, but if Nayuta can do a different version of Makima's inherent powers like BANG or her twisty hand move then you could argue that Makima would also have those. Basically, this just means that a death battle would have to wait for Nayuta to be finished, and Nayuta will probably finish when Chainsaw man finishes, therefore they can't do anything until then

@@ichiban9662 Wall of text jumpscare: Both started their stories as innocent village children who dedicated their lives to protecting their younger sibling, who was suffering from an illness that originates from their already frail bodies (Saya and Laphicet). This responsibility of theirs being impacted by the loss of their parents and/or older siblings. That is until one uneventful night when their village was attacked behind their back. They both came face to face with a man (Hazama/Terumi and Artorius) who, in response to them getting in their way, cut off their arm and kidnapped/murdered their younger sibling to fulfill their personal plans. Both Ragna and Velvet would be left for dead before being saved by a mentor figure who helped them learn to harness their new power which not only turned their severed arm into a big red claw with absorption powers, but also happens to sap away their life (Jubei teaching Ragna how to control the Azure Grimoire and Ceres teaching Velvet how to harness her powers as a therion). Once they got back on their feet, they began a revenge plot on Hazama and Artorius, respectively, but are smart enough to not take them down head on because they run an organization that controls the entire world (Hazama is the founder of the Novus Orbis Librarium and Artorius is the shepherd of the Abbey). Instead, they kill their officers/exorcists, destroy their bases, and commit other crimes based around spiting the NOL/the Abbey. Doing so gives them an infamous title that causes the world to despise them (the Grim Reaper and the Lord of Calamity). Originally, they dislike the implications of their newfound title, but later embrace them after vowing to not kill for no reason anymore, with a little help from a valuable ally that heavily resembles their deceased sibling (Noel, who’s a clone of Saya, and Phi, who is a part of Laphicet (although technically he is a malak created from Velvet’s unborn nephew)). As they continue their revenge plot, it’s revealed that their supposedly dead sibling is being used as a vessel for a powerful, evil god (Saya’s body was used as a vessel for Hades Izanami and Laphicet was reborn as the empyrean Innominant). Though shaken, they carry on to seal away the god and defeat Terumi/Artorius by literally stripping away their godlike powers (Ragna using his soul eater to rip Terumi out of the Susanoo unit and Velvet beating armatized Artorius by tearing Innominant out of him). With their revenge achieved, knowing that they’ve gone too far for redemption, they give up their lives to help others accomplish their dreams and get another chance at living a normal life (with Ragna merging with the Amaterasu Unit to write himself out of existence and everyone’s memories thus becoming the concept of possibilities and Velvet sealing herself with Innominant and keeping the empyreans awake and reverting most demons back into their human forms).

My most wanted Death Battle that I really want is Tari vs Miko Kubota. The connections between the two are really good, the fight, banter, and dynamic potential is great, Therewolf's Glitchy is outstanding and its a fight I barely see anyone talk about but has a good chance being in Season 10, while also having great animation potential which gives this matchup excellent finale potential as I can see it shift between animations like Saitama vs Popeye. I really hope this matchup comes out this season!

Subaru Natsuki vs Satou Kazuma is my most wanted matchup mainly because I love both anime’s and like the dialogue potential, analysis jokes, and debate.

But you can't really use someone like Subaru in a death battle. Kazuma can definitely kill Subaru pretty easily, but it's hard to say whether or not Subaru would give up and run away before being able to beat him, as Kazuma would be far stronger than anyone Subaru has beaten himself (as literally in every fight Subaru's strategy is to lure the person he is fighting to someone stronger to protect him, think how he uses Reinhard to fight Regulus, Julius to fight Betelguese, Garfiel to fight Elsa etc). Now Subaru only has power due to his contract with Beatrice, but this would probably be restricted in a death battle as outside help (and if they don't restrict her I'm pretty sure Beatrice stomps Kazuma). In the end, Subaru could probably eventually come up with a strategy to kill Kazuma, however it would be near impossible to say how he would do it due to the nature of death battle and Subaru having literally no good combat feats.

Ok so my most wanted fight is kinda a weird one. The hunter (monster hunter: world) vs Link. They both have a huge variety of tools and prefer to outsmart and tactically analyze their opponents rathen than brute forcing them. They both also take on foes that are MUCH stronger than them. They ALSO both rely on gadgets and tools to help get an upper hand in combat. Id imagine the fight could have some super cool spectial of the hunter and link trying to fight each other but they are also getting attacked by a random monster. As the fight progresses, they constantly move around and relocate to different environments and both are seen using the enviornment and other tools to get advantages on the other. Though im very unclear on who would actually win. Im guessing link because he has more experience fighting opponents like the hunter while the hunter fights exclusively giant monsters. Just thought it was cool and wanted to share it.

Oh I’ve been waiting for this match up too. And while in terms of pure gameplay Ellie would certainly stomp over Clem (mainly cause their respective games have different styles. Ellie being a Action Survivor while Clem’s a Narrative Survivor), with the TV adaptation for TLoU actually presenting a more grounded & realistic version of Ellie instead of one covered by gameplay mechanics, I can hope that once Season Two passes (which Will cover some of Part II), a potential DB will be more balanced out between the two and that Clem can actually have a fighting chance.

Cuz one, it will probably spoil people if it'll come out this year, and two, cuz judging by one of the newer posters, it might change a little from the manga (not saying an anime-original ending) that would affect Eren's powers in the anime. As in his Titan has blue eyes and fiery skin on the poster akin to the anime-original form he showed when fighting the Female Titan in the end of Season 1. It was not shown in the fight against her in the manga nor the manga ending, so I think it'll make things a little different if they wait so they can use Anime Eren VS Ken rather than Manga Eren VS Ken. Cuz if Manga Eren loses against Ken but Anime Eren would win, I'll be very disappointed since I've always wanted Eren to win against Ken lol
