I used to be in a long ongoing gray polo shirt phase aka "idk I just copy my dad but I don't wanna stick out" until one day I decided to go for a white polo during summer which then some friends/colleagues associated rather with the rich. And they were right 👁️ so I unintentionally did lvl2 of stealth money as shown in diagram in this video.

I became that uniform guy and haven't look back. Cut down my wardrobe to about 2-3 pieces per item of clothing (2 hoodies, 3 sweatshirts, 3 pairs of sneakers etc, all similar cuts and silhouettes). Now I wake up and can pick out anything without worrying about my outfit because I know I'll look good and feel comfortable with everything I own. It also means you can spend a lot more on quality pieces rather than having loads of cheap items that you won't wear.

Having a uniform alleviates decision fatigue, but I’m finding my wardrobe getting stale and boring. I’m now trying to add some more fun and personality back into my wardrobe. Fashion is fun and my creative brain misses the satisfying frustration of putting a cool fit together. I thought I’d share. I think a lot of us go through our fashion journey and strip it down to a uniform. I thought I’d be happy with it but eventually, I think we tire of it because it’s so simple. It creates a nice building block though! I love my go to basics.

my style is basically 2007 gamer culture personified to match my interests which are mostly just weed and my playstation 2 same olive cargo shorts almost everyday, occasionally those cool loose jorts, almost exclusively black shirts with some edgy print (weed leaf, a wolf riding a motorcycle, a majestic lion, something silly) and sometimes a hawaiian shirt instead of that always paired with a simple pair of converse all stars i couldnt get more comfy and ,,myself,, and im so glad i dont have to try anymore, it just clicks (and never forget a cap with some random embroidered text or the monster logo for extra douchyness)

I always felt like fashion now is like cosplay and I am leaning into all 4 types of the fashion mentioned. Since I'm a student, my uni has a day where we need to dress a bit more formal then there are days where I just wanna wear something that is noisy but opposite to that I have days I wanna dress down just to relax my mind, finally there's days when idk what to wear and idk what will happen during that day so all black just fits those days.
