I chose Cool Isle not because I'm some crazy builder or something, but because there's no floating islands so there's no risk of companions/pets falling to their doom.

The Sumeru teapot is my favorite! What bugged me about others was how unfinished my projects would look due to the load limit and the lack of detail in the layouts. Sumeru has enough going on that I don't have to focus on too much detail and can spread things out.

I didnt know different islands have different load limits good to know maybe ill finally get more into teapot since im the kind of person who wants to edit every detail at every mm of the land I can use and end up being so limited by it I just gave up on it completely

Different islands do have different loads- but its not signifigant for any except for that one teapot- the problem is multiple islands in that one share one load- leaving entirely empty islands

As a Sumeru realm user, the scenery is superior to most islands except the Inazuma one. That is the only reason I use it lol I kinda wish we had a desert part so I didn't have to mess around with the trees and the desert landforms to make a TINY desert sanctuary build

I did choose the floating isles. Despite the lack of day/night cycle, I was able to make it work with a full Liyue inspired realm layout. A lot of the colours of the furnishings as well as the general vibe that particular realm has.

Back before we could combined shit, I spent literal hours to build a shine in the sky inside my mansion using the glitch where you had to repeatedly wiggle shit back and forth. It took absolutely forever but I’m damn proud of it (it also kills you when you spawn in, oops). And yes, it is in the silken court too

I chose the Floating Isles because my favourite time of day is the evening when the sun sets. Noöne asked, but I'll make a brief summary of the islands as I've decorated them, just because I'm really passionate about my teapot lol: The first island features a hilichurl tribe, [mond-style] park, and qingce village houses The second island features springvale vibes, with the winery's vineyard and mond armory nearby. The third island features a forest with an inazuman shrine... yea, that's it. The last island is where the [liyue style] mansion is, along with an onsen near the entrance, another shrine but smaller, and a place to have a little sit down underneath a pair of yellowleaved trees. That being said, there is still a giant meadow in the centre of the island (no thanks to the build limit 🙄). Soo, yea. I'm pretty passionate about my teapot. Oh yea, imagine all that with one of the OSTs from the oases. Magical. One theme I chose to incorporate into every teapot layout is having those amber stones growing out of rocks and trees near the waypoints. As a result, I generally make a little hill/mountain on the patch of land available before anything else.

I have my teapot decorated but I rarely change anything. The last time I changed whole island was during Sumeru, recently I just changed one staircase near the mansion and decorated a room for Furina. But I always try for whole island to look good, not just build one tiny highly decorated place leaving the rest empty. As a result things may look a bit diluted but I always find a way to get to result I'm happy with. I have all realms but I only use the mountain one, I just can't leave it. I also decorated the islands one but I just don't like the layout that much. And Inazuman is there only to place sets for characters, then remove them again once I collect the reward.

The minute I first saw what Silken Courtyard looks like, I loved it immediately. Something about it is so chill and comforting, as well as it having my favorite color palette (primarily the purples and pinks), and a beautiful scenery that of course is based on Inazuma. I "main" this realm and by far it's the one that has the "comfiest" builds of mine, I even put a matching soundtrack that communicates the atmosphere I wanted to create for it I do have to say I am pretty unhinged when it comes to exploration, the entirety of my in-game map is completed at 100%, I absolutely love exploration in games. So that checks out

Weirdest thing about the Fontaine teapot is it seems great with Inazuma buildings and terrible with Fontaine ones. Back to Cool Isle if you want to make a dockyard, I guess.

It’s more chronological for me. I built the floating island when the whole teapot thing was first released and used it until we got the second one. That night cycle was too wonderful to skip. Built everything to have a lot of lights and stargazing spots :) Skipped the beach team because I got the Inazuma one soon after. It’s very painterly and dreamy. Also the teapot version I’ve spend most time building. Sumeru treehouses for me weren’t that inspiring but I’m excited to try the underwater realm when it comes. Btw I wish we had a choice of locking the cycle to night or day if we wanted.

I LOVE building, I've played and built in Terraria, Minecraft, Space Engineers and Cities: Skylines. I've built an ok-ish sakura blossom theme in the Floating Abode(Liyue) domain but the space limit is such a huge turn off. I could build a high detailed tiny spot but that just leaves 90% of the land empty. Also the currency income is frustrating to deal with given I have to spend them to get character level-up stuff(F2P). The whole mechanic just feels unnecessary limiting so I've never been motivated enough to do much. Edit: Giving us simple texture tools like short grass and dirt paths would be amazing.

I'm literally so excited for the Fontaine teapot! I suppose you'll get it from the fountain of lucine but I already maxed it out so that will be no problem. I got all my realms decorated it's literally so much fun to see how much my builds have evolved since I first started using the teapot
