Michelle was SO much harder on Vanje than other competitors - and Vanje WAS listening, and TRYING. Silky WASN'T. Michelle just NEVER cut Vanje any slack. Her bias was so obvious. Silky was a MESS and NEVER elevated her drag when Vanje tried SO hard to impress Michelle. Disgrace that she went home. Silky should have been in the bottom, and Silky should have gone home.

it can be said for Michelle that she was so tough on Vanjie because she believes in her way more than she did a lot of the other queens and really wanted her to go all the way - her annoyance with Vanjie always struck me as a mentor, or even a mother, getting frustrated at their kid for not giving it the full effort and living up the potential that they know they're capable of. and as for Silky, if my memory serves me right, she was the only one to really actually call out Silky on her sloppiness ("roach", lashes, pads, etc.). It's the other judges that were very willing to turn a blind eye to it because of her personality.

Honest to god, the critiques against vanjie all season were valid but it annoys me that they didn’t apply the same criticism to silky who hasn’t served anything fresh or exciting the whole season and has skated by on her “charisma”. Did vanjie do a lot of the same? Yes. Was it polished? For the most part. Silky has been a mess all season long, gave one of the worst lip syncs in drag race herstory and somehow was pushed into the top four because the judges like her personality. It’s a shame.

I agree, I felt like the judges was really reaching when it came to Brooke's performance. She did an awesome job, and I didn't see it as her bored and just going thru the motions, I got sexy/sultry from her. The only thing off about Vanjie was her lip syncing. They did her wrong last week, because she should've won the challenge. Before DR went mainstream, if Ru/the judges had to tell a queen to get their shit together a few times, and that queen didn't listen.....she'd be gone, which means Silk with the raggedy milk would've been gone. Silky was getting critiques that would have sent other queens home. Jiggly, used to carry all her weight in the front as well, but her looks were pretty and put together except for the apocalyptic lewk, but Silky had more bad lewks(including her street wear)and didn't care about critiques but if she would listen then she would do better. @@candice_ecidnac Nina is a sweetheart for sure, but I don't think that argument was that deep. Vanjie and Yvie both wear their heart on their sleeve and are very true to their feelings and what they express, as Vanjie explained I think she was just embarrassed Yvie called her out in front of the rest since she was already frustrated with her own performance and got defensive. Especially seeing how easily they resolved it, it was clear it was just an argument among sisters, don't think it makes either of them less good as people, they're both sweethearts

Her and Brooke Lynn only dated 3/4 months after the show - it's a shame. I was rooting for them too. You can tell Vanjie was very invested in it and she was visibly hurt when Brooke Lynn said they were no longer dating at the reunion. Ariel and Scarlet both said on "Look at Huh" that they felt that Vanjie was more into it than Brooke. Also, it's hard to believe that Vanjie was Brooke Lynn's first boyfriend but maybe that was a clue right there.
