Alan Cumming's role as Nightcrawler was a real standout in X2. It's a shame he didn't return.
@user-mg5mv2tn8qКүн бұрын
Actually it wasn't that Cumming hated the makeup process, he hated the makeup itself. Specifically, Nightcrawler's look was achieved with flexible foam rubber appliances glued to the actor's entire face. But Cumming is severely claustrophobic, and for him, and playing the character was sort of like having his head locked in a box. In short, it was his worst nightmare brought to life, 12+ hours a day, five days a week, for a couple months straight.

So Michael Bay basically me tooed Megan Fox and she's the one they fired 😮, "why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies" Keanu Reeves wouldn't do Speed 2, but he did those Matrix sequels lol 🤪, it's like how Christopher Lambert wouldn't do Mortal Kombat Annihilation when he did those Highlander sequels. Speed 2 must be really bad indeed. With something like the X-Men movies, it's surprising actors didn't sign a multiple movie contract, "a contract is a contract!" I thought Terminator Dark Fate was better than Rise of Machines, but I understand why people hate it for killing off John. I haven't seen Salvation or Genesis to judge one way or the other. I do have the extended special edition of Judgement Day with the original ending wrapping everything up, I'm a bit surprised that anyone that dislikes anything after Judgment Day just doesn't stick with that

Spielberg was wrong for that. I mean, I understand his side of it, but Megan was actually probably using a reference she didn't know the boss of her boss would take so personally. The Transformer movies aren't high art, but once they began to snip away root characters we liked, the series really devolved.
@AR3ANI2 күн бұрын
Spielberg wasn't wrong for it, Megan wasn't integral to the plot in any way shape or form. It was a lesson in learning her place and not to bite the hand that feeds. The human characters were as essential to the plot as they are in the sonic movies. Should the writers have done better and written a decent female character, absofookin'lutely, but a Michael Bay film is not the place to expect such "radical" ideals.

Hate to break it to you, but 50 mph is about the legal speed for a bus here. In general, a bus should be able to reach 80 mph. But it would take some time, and it would be above the legal limit for a bus. There is an option for a 65 mph limit for a bus that has no standing places and has seatbelts on all seats. And of course the whole movie is predicated on keeping the bus going over 50 is in fact a challenge.
