The no-killing rule is actually terrifying if you stop to think about it. "I'm not going to kill you. I'm going to use my encyclopedic knowledge of anatomy and medicine to break every bone in your body as I name them. I love how a list of the 10 worst things that Batman has ever done to villains starts off with Robin doing something worse. Three men being permanently fused together is definitely the worst fate mentioned in this video.
@Llinl13373 жыл бұрын
Most of these are quite tame compared to what he did to Lord Death Man. This villain had the power of resurrection. He would die like anyone else but would return to life after a little while. Batman threw him off a building and let him be run over by a car. Afterward, before the villain had recovered, Batman sealed him in a chest and launched him into space. Leaving the villain to be suffocated and resurrected over and over and over again... for all eternity.

TO be fair the early batman was before the super hero revolution when they had to stand up and out as the pinacol of humans where they don't kill for any reason because they were better than Us. Killing a murderer does not make you "just as bad as them." That is a crap argument. The REASON for killing should ALWAYS be taken into account!! If I murder an innocent person that makes me a bad guy, but if a friend or family member kills him after, that a COMPLETELY different story, as THAT guy wouldn't be killed if he hadn't already done it. One is a murderous action, the other is a consequence of a murderous action.

Is the Joe Chill death a retcon? The original way I remember Joe dying is that Batman beat the crap out of him, and unmasked, revealing himself to be Bruce Wayne, so that Joe would know HE was responsible for Batman's existence. Joe runs away and bumps into some goons, and tells them about how he knows who Batman is and how he's responsible for him. The goons get ticked off, blaming Chill for Batman beating the crap out them, having to spend time in prison, ect and shoot Joe. They realize Joe never told them who Batman was yet, and just as they ask him, Batman shows up and kicks the snot out of them. He promises Joe that he'll get an ambulance for him, but Joe tells him to forget it. Joe Chill tells Batman "Ya got me...after all these years...ya finally got me." and then he passes away.
