Feel like the more crazy part of Liv being a jobber was that in the thumbnails instance it was against EVA MARIE of all people

@@khesipresents1885Yep, some factions like the Shield aside, more often than not Vince usually picked one or two (dependent on the size of the group) people to get that push to the top or as a solid top of the mid-card person.

Uh, just a small correction. Rhino was actually the final ECW champion in 2001. In fact, Justin Credible wasn't even in the last 3. He lost it to Jerry Lynn, who lost it to Steve Corino, who lost it to The Sandman, who lost it to Rhino. Just a quick correction. I hate being that "Ummmm... well... actually..." guy, but it really sounded weird to me when I heard it.

The most amazing thing about Liv and her greatest asset, is that she's only 30, yet she already has 10 years experience under her belt. If she wrestles for 8 more years, which would only bring her up to Becky and Charlotte's age today, Liv could end up setting longevity records for the Rumble, EC, Money in the Bank, etc. A lot of Natalya's records could be in danger.

Drew and Jinder went from jobbers to champions in their comeback, I remember in January 2024 almost everyone wanted him to beat Seth for the WHC just because he roasted Hook and Jinder was a key part of Seth’s injury and storyline to Drew winning the WHC at Wrestlemania for a bit.

Vince McMahon had no plan for Styles after the Rumble but somehow Vince's mind ticked because Aj was kept and then Vince uttered the line "I should've hired you back in 2011 I made a mistake". Now of course who knows what would've happened if Styles did come to the WWE in pure PG Era 2011 WWE but does that mean Vince actually watched TNA in 2011???

He wasn't really a jobber to be fair. He came in and had a close match with Kurt Angle, was (if memory serves correct) facing Chris Jericho at a PPV shortly after. Sure, he had a very dull, run of the mill character who was moments away from being cut, but he was never someone really used to get other people over.

Vince knew Foley had potential during the first promo Foley did with JR. He showed up during it and after a cut he clapped in the background and they were shocked to see him there watching. It was at that moment JR knew Vince gave him a thumbs up that he made the right choice. Vince didn't want Foley in the WWE since he was afraid he would break JR's heart and not live up to the potential he saw in him since Vince has seen it before.

"Dean Ambrose left of his own accord." Well, if a business has a contract they have to uphold, and the employee has been careful to not violate the contract for justified firing, then the company will make you hate your job to a point of quitting or doing as much as you can to get away ASAP. Always, always, always make sure a business contract, if it's going to be at-will firing, make sure it's also at-will quitting. With WWE, the 90-day noncompete is unavoidable, but Dean probably signed a ludicrous contract that had all sorts of penalties for quitting, so good on him for just taking the hit.

Though she may not have been the truest definition of a jobber, Gail Kim never truly got her due while in WWE. Sure, she technically won the title on her very first match, but the reign was short-lived, and she was subsequently used as a punching bag for the divas of the era. Her career actually serves pretty closely as a female parallel to Christian; hit the midcard ceiling in WWE, sacrificed in favor of arguably less talented performers, only to establish herself as a legend in TNA. Comes back to WWE, to AGAIN be treated as a nobody, before saying "eff this" and solidifying her career elsewhere. While AJ Lee is often (deservedly) given credit for serving as the catalyst for the transition from divas to superstars, I think an argument can be made that, had she been given the opportunity, Gail very well could have done the same.
