Cody saying screw Stardust literally led to the creation of AEW, so that's the most important one on this list to me. He stays as Stardust, remains low to mid card, and probably never reaches his superstardom as a wrestler.

Super stardom? Cody Rhodes worked himself into a corner creatively in AEW. You can see what the plan was, Jericho and Omega would be the two top heavyweights putting over the new talent. The Bucks would be the main guys putting people over in tag team matches and Cody would be the mid card guy. How do we know that? One of the first angles AEW ran was, Cody wasn’t allowed to challenge for the title match which he lost. That was in the early days of AEW. So he put people over and in doing so, his star power started to drop. The guy was flinging his belt into the audience and it was being thrown right back at him. Not exactly someone with major star power now? , is it?. When he announced his departure from AEW , we all thought. It’s all good. Darby is over and so is Sammy G. So the midcard doesn’t need Cody now. His only way was down in AEW. So he took what star power he has left from NJPW and rejoined WWE but under better terms as now has a certain degree of control over what they do with his character to revert it ever becoming Stardust again.

Kofi being the champ just once is enough , I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it but sometimes an underdog reaching the summit for a brief shining moment is the better story , look how fondly we remember Big Boss man , Tatanka , Mr Perfect , Razor Ramon and Owen Hart . In today's WWE they would of all had a run with a top belt and if diminishes there aura in 25 years fans will look back at kofi's run to the top more favourably 😊
