Anaheim Convention Center, but it's called the LA Cookie Con. It was pretty cool and it really helped as someone who wants to get into the industry. Duff had a lot of cool advice too and was just overall very nice.

context: replying to a comment that said cake creators could do whatever they wanted because its 'art' I never said that not making the cake was illegal I was saying that when you are contracted to make something you are bound to that contract *unless* what they are asking you to do is illegal. I used the KKK because other comments mentioned people who refused to make cakes for the KKK, the KKK is a hate group who commit hate crimes, if you are allowing your products to be represented by your brand you are complicit in a hate crime which is illegal.

Dan's Old Record Shelf the problem is, for most people there aren’t dozens of cake bakeries. For most of us are a few grocery store bakeries ( Costco, Walmart, HyVee, Wegmans etc) maybe 1 or 2 mid range bakeries and if you are near a city a high end bakery to charge an arm and a leg. If you provide a service to the public, you provide a service to the whole public. Period.

Except if you really read that case, the baker said that they would happily sell the couple pastries from their shop, but not a wedding cake, so really how strongly do they believe in so called "Christian" values because the couple are still a gay couple if they make them a pastry as they are if they made them a wedding cake. People are giving way too much credit to a pile of flour that you're going to poop out later and aside from that, the bakers aren't checking at the door to make sure every straight couple is indeed straight or Christian or according to them, breaking the bibles rules, so that does make an incredibly strong case for discrimination.
