When the series aired, they created something that they called Austerity Rock, all WW11 and The Andrew Sisters. Some bright spark business man opened a restaurant/ club , i think in Mayfair ( can't remember the name 😢old age) but based around the show. Great memories of the show the music 🎶 and the restaurant. Keep going, doing a brilliant job 😊Allan&Family

I loved the series in the 70s. In fact it was probably largely responsible for me trying my hand in the music business in the 1980s (not particularly successfully though). Oddly enough Charlotte Cornwell started following me on Twitter out of the blue and we had a couple of chats about the state of the entertainment business. She had a lot of concern about how people from less well off backgrounds were being side-lined and the amount of nepotism in the world of acting. I didn't realise she had died for a few months until I noticed she's disappeared from Twitter. I never did get around to telling her how much I liked her performance in this series. such a shame she died so relatively young.

Charlotte Cornwell had quite a big theatre career , particularly in Shakespeare. She was well respected by fellow actors and ofcourse outstanding as Anna in Rock Follies as she crumbled psychologically.

I believe that, strangely enough, she was sister or half sister of the author John Le Carre
