the fact that you can hear his emotions here in this song says enough about his passion and talent. Another great song and a great reaction
@ShadowSparksX2 жыл бұрын
Or maybe he doesn't even feel a particular emotion while recording this stuff but he can emulate these emotions through his music. That shows how much of a genius he is. I'm saying this because you don't need to feel any kind of emotions while rapping/singing. Rustage has already told us that most of the time his emotions while recording aren't the same as the emotions that his music shows

Guts is probaply most tragic protagonist in fiction. Born from corpse of his mother. Lost adoptive mother at age of 3. Was put to training at 6 by his abusive adoptive father. Was sold to another soldier by that adoptive father and then raped. Killed his adoptive father in selfdefense at age of 11. (This was just his childhood)

I’d disagree with Subaru, with him there are moments of downtime amongst the pain and anguish, Guts didn’t have that until the mid point to Fantasia, up until then he’s just been on a constant mission to survive, only made easier with the party he’s gathered

Great reaction. Something to be noted by a metalhead: you have a lot of knowledge about the dangers of screaming. If you just yell/push at the top of your lungs, you're gonna blow your voice out in no time flat. That's exactly what you experienced when you tried to sing Psychosocial. There are multiple unique screaming techniques but the one Fabvl is using (if I'm informed correctly) is called fry screaming and is the safest, although also quietest screaming technique. In a recording booth, that is not a problem however, you can always just turn up the mic gain. What Fabvl is doing is literally making fry screams his bitch. Not only is he sliding in and out of clean/grit/screamo vocals as he pleases and doesn't get "stuck", but he's also sliding while screaming. I have been listening to metal for all of my life and screams like the one at 4:20 are exceptionally rare. Like that's screamo perfection. You know who else was known for his godlike control over his screamos? Chester Bennington, crowned by many as one of the most versatile vocalists of all time. "He sings like an angel and screams like a demon.", is a quote I once read on the internet. Fabvl is getting alarmingly close to his level.

Berserk was one of the first animes I ever watched. My mom rented it from Blockbuster, and we didn't know anything about it. I was still in elementary school, but shows like Berserk are probably why I still lean towards anime over American TV, I just love the depth so many of them have. I mean... there's a lot of trash too, but we don't get as many of these really hard hitting, gritty, emotional series like Berserk.

I agree with everything you have said, fabvl is an absolute god of an artist and musician along with the fact that his specific style of vocals and performances are extremely difficult to pull off as someone who also does practice these vocals a lot and plans to compose and write songs too. But please do not call "screams" screamo because it's completely not what it is. Screamo only came around because of new age hip hop (could be wrong on that) and the screamed vocals you'd hear in metal are called False Cord Screams implying that they require your False vocal chords to pull off. They are also quite difficult to master especially when it comes to consistency. False chord screams are also considered Metal Screams since their mostly used in metal music along with most subgenres of it, Melo death, metal core, Djent, some new age rock and hard rock as well. So please don't call it screamo. Besides that have a great day dude and keep up the great content 😄
