Hi Marwan, my name is Veronica but people call me V. I am a music enthusiast and I was and in the middle and high school band. I listen to you guys all the time, and reactors to see how they feel about it. I wish I could see the music videos, but I am visually impaired. Nevertheless, the music is great. I’ll be following u on Patreon soon. I hope to hear from you!

Hey! Just a little backstory regarding this song. The original was a vocaloid song produced by Ho-ong-i back in 2012 (I think). It tells the story of a possessed young girl hunting a young boy. It is usually a hard song to cover due to the high notes, which makes this bass version all that more special in my opinion.

Dude, Lauren Paley isn't a singer. She is a siren in a human disguise! I know you love your bass but seriously, check out her soprano! She has a youtube short where Bobby Bass duets this song. I would still love to hear those two do the full song 🤩 Edit: She also did this song with Voiceplay!

When I first listened to this, I thought "man, I know this is Lauren's trademark song, but I'd love the boys to get more spotlight." Man, after Bobby came in with the "Knock-Knock", I literally had my jaw on the floor for a solid 45 seconds. These boys just have something special going on. Constant C#1 subs going on throughout the whole video. I can assure you, ALL of us reacted to Marwan's C#1 sub the exact same as you!! Underground dubstep section going THICC!!!
@Simi_Rose2 жыл бұрын
If i remember correctly Mortius had actually paused and commented about the same thing with the focus about it... and then the boys came in :D (He said it was exactly what the piece should have, but he was wanting to react to the guys. Then of course all of them came in to show off :D It felt true to how Lauren has made the piece famous, and it was appropriate for her to lead them in i think because of this being one of the songs everyone knows of hers )

Honestly, their acting range is not to be overlooked in this. The whole song and clip is a perfect rollercoaster of "cheesy Halloween paper cutouts in a haunted mansion" kind of creepy and just actually terrifying. I actually got Freddy Krueger vibes from the ending, remember those girls singing in the first movie?

Man these fellers are getting better with every song they do, and what I find completely amazing is that they are doing all this remotely. They are doing this from 3 different countries and sound amazing just imagine what they could do if they were all in the same studio together. That would an insane album. Anyways love watching your reactions dude. You're awesome.
@Simi_Rose2 жыл бұрын
The thing is if you listen to some of their comments (I am thinking of Peters reaction) he commented some of the bass notes he could only pull off with the morning voice, with how deep they need to go trying to do this together in a studio would be a nightmare, especially with how much they layer in sections. That said I would love to see them all together and if they ever fancied preforming live in Europe I would totally be there :D
@jameschastain38542 жыл бұрын
@@Simi_Rose I remember, now that you mentioned it, that Peter did mention something about morning notes. Didn't catch everything he was saying. Thank you for mentioning what Peter said, been meaning to rewatch his reaction video again. Thanks again and I hope that you have a good day.

@@jameschastain3854 i don't know about the other guys, but Marwan has talked how normally he can go down to C2 or C# in chest. To go lower it's either a good day or morning voice.

@@caiovinicius5204 I think @Jennifer Cowan meant that while Voiceplay were physically in the same place while recording, the Bass Gang were at the four corners of the world. 🙂 Also, beside this obvious limitation, the Bass Gang is a different group, with different minds and different toolbag... I like the fact that these two groups are so different, even when they cover the same song with the same guest singer. 🙂 Each group has its own "signature" style, both in video and audio, and so it should be. Even the sense of humour is different, but both of them show theirs in whatever they do, and even if it's so different, well, it's there. 🙂 And both groups have incredible vocal skills. 🙂 I confess I love both. 😁
