You'll remember with a reminder.... Adriana's first with them was Frozen, and she was only 16-17 yrs old. (There are vids out there of VP wishing her happy birthday, telling her they've been following her Instagram (Geoff's words: This girl can sing her face off!), and inviting her to sing with them. Her reaction to hearing this is filmed (I think by her dad) and adorable (she's hugging her dog, and uses his paw to wipe away her tears of excitement); then another by mom doing a background vid while they're filming Frozen. (I liked that she seemed well chaperoned... I love these guys and think they are as nice as it's possible to be, but it's good for a girl that age to have the support/comfort of her mother with her.) Then, nearly a year later..... they filmed Mr. Grinch. Now, here she is, doing her first non-Disney, "grown up" song with them... and she's probably just about 18, maybe 19. I love the whole way this happened. Whether she goes on to sing with them regularly or not, I have to believe she gained a ton of irreplaceable experience along with some wonderful memories and great insights into how the business works. Fairy tales come true! Thanks for all of your wonderful reactions to VP. I've just gone back through, re-listening and catching a few I'd missed. I love your ear for catching things and wonder if you know the answer to something I can't puzzle out: I can always guess if Geoff or Layne arranged a song, but I have no idea what's different. Their harmonies are always unmistakably VoicePlay, there are always surprises... yet the two are audibly different in their approach. Do you know why, or what I'm picking up on? I must be hearing something I'm not conscious of....

VP always does something to build up to the end and surprise me. I don't know this song at all but I know I love this version of it. And go Eli rocking the high tenor runs. Adriana was with them for the Grinch song and frozen 2. Cesar is new to vp

Dear God, I hope they don't add another female to the group like they did in the beginning of their careers.on the Sing Off. There will never be another quintet as powerful or more enjoyable as Geoff, Layne, Eli, Earl and JNone together. I hope that this group won't go belly up. Pentatonix has had one member change in all of their 11-12 years in existence, but Home Free and Voiceplay seem to work on the "revolving door" policy.
