Also note that he gives a much darker cultural image to "repeat stuff" than the more religious "devil" imagery... Pre-hiatus Bo had no chill. Post-hiatus Bo has….still no chill but with a beard. Love your reactions and tangents!!! You’ve becoming one of my favorite youtube channels! You’re spot on and it’s cool that you took in all the demonic/conspiracy theory/nazi imagery and went straight to corporate culture. So many people get caught up on those “subliminal messages” and overshoot the meaning. It’s just money. That’s it. Corporate pop “artists” (their producers, managers, marketing teams, publicists…) use the same propaganda techniques that the Nazi’s perfected (repeat a lie until it’s truth) to extract as much money as possible from fans. Moral bankruptcy be damned, this dead horse still has a few bucks in it. My favorite fact about this song is that Justin Bieber and Selina Gomez snuck into one of Bo’s shows and had to sit through it and watch a beloved comic rip them, and their industry to shreds. That’s just…”chef’s kiss”. Keep ‘em coming!!! Cheers.

Yeah, I’m with Bo on this, most corporate culture is pure evil. That’s what most big companies want. To get inside your mind, your house, and your kids. And they are generally ok with a portion of us dying as a direct result, as long as it doesn’t affect their bottom line. It’s happened too many times now for anyone to think it’s not the way things are. I feel like I have a certain level of constant, seething rage about this, while also feeling somewhat powerless.

So "Swag" seems to be a demon and there is power in his name. He wants you to say it. To repeat it. So he gains power. In the live show version Bo goes into a minor moment of being possessed and saying things like "666". The later part of the song has speech and shouts from a certain German army of old. Again in the live version he ends with getting the audience to say "repeat stuff" over and over and then he gets up and does the salute of the certain German army of old. ... SWAG!

The ski mask parts I took as a metaphor. Would you let an unknown stranger sneak into your house to talk and influence your kid?.. No? 5:05 lol.. first, i love when people understand the music reference to “the same 4 chords”.. so, awesome.. lol.. second, you actually nailed it with referencing Justin Bieber.. Theres always been this very inside joke vibe thing about Bo and Bieber bc they both got discovered and picked up through KZbin about same time. So theres always been little jabs about Bo’s actual artistry not being as explosive as Biebers “cheap 4 chords” was.. so theres high speculation this track was subliminally towards Bieber.. Who, iirc, was also in the audience in the live version of this song. Not 100% on his presence there, but thats the lore. I still prefer this video, nevertheless.. the only fun part of the live version is hearing the audience proving his point right about the “easy chorus” and sing it back to Bo. Lol ❤️ 8:54 Swag!
