I always say that Vinny has Sídhe (Tolkien’s Style Elves) Blood. He’s got that perfect Irish ancient singing ornamented storyteller style just perfect. It’s one of the oldest forms of singing often just accompanied with just a drone at the bottom. it’s at least 1000 years old. Most just hear angels, as a music teacher and vocal coach it’s almost hard to express just how technically pure his tone and ornamental are, that it’s off the charts highly skilled. And true basses are really, really rare. Breath supporting tones so low is actually a specific genetic mutation that allows a true bass to resonate like that. Both actually Countertenor and True bass. The rarity on both ends. It’s magic.
