NINOY: What we need is civil debate in this country. SHATNER: I actually said that to Limbaugh. NIMOY: And? SHATNER: He yelled at me. Love it.

I love it when Mr. Nimoy jokingly says, "Ooh, a voice..." at 6:01. That is something I would do. :)

Love Nimoy. He's got an honest social consciousness and I admire him for it.

nimoy hinted at it in his book I Am Spock that shatner might had resented the popularity of the spock chracter in the early days of star trek, and shatner to his chracter confessed in his own book that most of the star trek cast thought he was a lil too over bearing, but pretty much everything was patched up over the years

@relientk58 In TOS, when Spock was getting REALLY popular, Shatner got worried that Kirk would seem unintelligent and unimportant, so he wanted Kirk to get lines that logically should have been Spock's, since Spock's duties were to collect data and such. It resulted in a lot of tension between the two for a time, but their honest respect and affection for each other outweighed any conflict. That, at least, is what Mr. Nimoy said in his book I Am Spock a must-read for LN and/or ST fans.

@relientk58 When Nimoy was on Shatner's RAW NERVE program last year he said he considered Bill his best friend, and you could tell it was from the heart. If there ever were any bad feelings between them they have long since past. They are very close friends and doubtless will be 'till the end.

I have a question. They are the cutest best friends I've ever seen but some people and things have hinted at hostility between them. Was there ever anything wrong and has it been resolved?

type in "STAR TREK After They Were Famous Part One " its an hour long documentary produced by the bbc that talks bout the making of the original series with the surviving cast, during the program they bring up how some of the cast members got along with each other and have since patched things up, (well prob not takki and shatner since george didnt invite him to his wedding)

Understands anybody what mr. Mr. Nimoy to Mr. Shattner says, after the word jealousy?

@relientk58 In my opinion, Shatner (being the extrovert) probably doesn't realize when he's being an ___. He's the fiery one of the pair so if he gets upset, Nimoy's cooler and thoughtfully gentle persona would have to offer the 'olive branch'. Shatner easily gets in hot water saying whatever comes out of his mouth first. Of all the TOS stars (Nichols, Takei, and Koenig) Nimoy accepts Shatner for who he is (and what he does). If the others don't it's because Bill's pissed them off ;)!

"Bullshit." Either Shatner lied and saw the movie, or that's some really creepy channeling going on. Pine's Kirk said that line in the new movie.
