Nice! I have been wanting a train for my village, but I am not sure which one yet.

For a Dept 56 Village most people use O-gauge trains because they are close to the scale of the buildings and people. O-gauge would be your Lionel trains but there are several other makers of that scale like MTH, Railking, Willaims K-Line, Atlas, and others. However HO gauge is very affordable and the most common to find, but its half the size of O gauge. Also, there is G scale which a decent amount larger then O gauge. There is a store near by me at Christmas time has a nice display using Dept 56 Village and G scale trains.
