Whatnot / Rip & Ship Common Scams: Search booster boxes for hit packs using a tuned metal detector. Replace the hit packs with additional dud packs. Reseal the booster box or booster bundle with a heat gun and new shrink wrap. During the live stream have a friend or puppet account to buy a pack, open one of the packs with hits to create the illusion of fairness or possibility of hitting a big chase card, when there is actually zero chance. Or they just open each pack and search them entirely, and reseal them, but you can't detect or tell it's resealed because they're opening it for you. Pay attention, many use a cutter to remove the top of the pack entirely. Just so there is no ability to detect or see resealed. Knowing how easy it is to pull this off, why would any one bother purchasing this way, keep in mind you're paying for shipping, not getting bulk, and paying scalper pricing, instead of MSRP. But your own packs people, and don't pay scalper pricing on brand new product.

there's a vendor who met him at a card show when 151 blew up and psa 10 zard was going for $500+ this vendor had no idea and still had the $200-$300 price tag. PKM2GO knew the worth of that zard and he still asked to take $20 off, the vendor agreed just because he's a youtuber POV vendor, and it wasn't until later that he realized the price on everything in 151 went up. i forgot his name but its here on youtube. that was kinda scummy, he could've told him a heads up that the prices are up

Haven't been a fan of Vortex for a few reasons: 1. He doesn't know how to pronounce half the pokemons names. Watch a stream and you'll see what i mean. 2. I was at one of the Houston Collectacons last year. I saw Vortex at a booth literally begging for a huge discount on a vintage booster box so he could break it on his stream. In exchange he offered a shout out to his massive audience. It was fucking pathetic and brought down the vibe of the booth.
